Disingenuous to say the cruise is Anchorage to Vancouver. It’s a $380 cab ride south of Anchorage. If it’d said Seward in the advertisement I would have looked it up on a map and not have made this cruise. Never again…. They have a bus available but not for me since I booked within 3 days of sailing. Do that and you are on your own to find a hotel in Anchorage or a ride to the port. The port and embarkation themselves were pleasant experience.

I went on this cruise and I knew that Seward isn't near Anchorage and I needed to take a transfer that will take over 2 hours. People need to spend more time reading and researching rather than counting down the days till their cruise and then blame the cruise line for ruining their cruise.

This is like when people complain that they weren’t specifically told by the cruise line that Trieste isn’t in Venice and Civitavecchia isn’t in Rome. Baffles me why you wouldn’t research the ports, especially the one you’re embarking at. Glad you enjoyed the cruise overall though.
