I will never go on the Norwegian Spirit again. If I was to win a free cruise on it I would not go nor give it away to have another people spirit ripped out of their body. They should remove the spirit off of that cruise ship and replace it with complexed
Embarkation

Ok, I wish mask wearing was not optional
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The food was just ok and repeated too many times. The drinks were great
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
No rock climbing wall, fitness centers was great but the pool format was not good for dancing on the stage or seeing what was going on at the stage.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Most of the entertainment was good
Children's Programs

Not much for children on the Norwegian Spirit
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The gentleman that maintain my room was excellent. Mr. Manoel D Dilva manager over the restaurant was superb. Mr. Claudius of the Solo Travelers was very accommodating. Wifi lady and tour man not so nice.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was clean. However, the pool area on the outside dock was not a good layout for seeing entertainment or exercising on the stage.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
For the price and to be a balcony definitely too small for two people
Ship tip
Don't. Do your home work and find a better cruise ship. Norwegian has other ships which are better than the Spirit. Also, don't use for booking
Plenty of youtube videos about ALL NCL Ships & different cruises that helps me decide if that trip is for me - you see & learn about the ports AND the ship, including the size of the rooms. A little research goes a long way. Cruises provide the hotel & transportation, the rest is up to me.
It’s critical to read several sources about your chosen ship before committing: cabin and balcony square footage, general ship reviews, activities such as rock wall or not (!). Research!
Thanks for the review. I’m not sure how some people can take a cruise to Alaska and Hawaii and be so disappointed. Those cruises are about the itinerary and not the ship.
I sailed on the spirit in August and thought it was a great smaller ship. Not everyone has to be spoon feed activities. If that is what you need,go on a larger ship, don’t bash a ship because you are not capable of entertaining yourself
My first NCL ship was Bliss. And I actually liked it. The Observation Lounge and Thermal Spa was nice. But it did get 'meh' after awhile. I was on a two week cruise and o was expecting a lot of activities. But it had no rock wall, zip line, or anything like that. The only fun
-fun things were the go carts and laser tag. Mini golf was lameAF. It was great to have the pool all to myself though and SpiceH2O was a nice hangout. Just not a whole lot of fun-fun things. But I won't sail NCL again, now that they are back at full capacity+.
