This was our 50th anniversary celebration and it didn't disappoint! We really like the freedom of Norwegian cruises to dress and eat as you choose! We enjoyed each port, as you have seen, some more than the others, but all in all, a most wonderful trip. Had fun playing the trivia and other games on sea days. The only thing I can say to the negative, is the dining room needs to change up their menus a bit more. That's it. All was good.

The main dining room is the best for dinner and breakfast. Didn't care for the smaller garden room.

Due to the times of the shows and length of dinner, we didn't get to see the shows, however, the piano player, Ian West, was fabulous and we sat in the Champagne Bar and listened to him every night he played. Awesome!!!!!

Our cabin steward kept our cabin clean always! He was wonderful. The room was small, and felt smaller due to the third sleeping bunk over the main bed(s). Being in the very bow of the ship, the ride was a bit (and I say this tongue in cheek) bumpy to say the least on the rough North and Norwegien Seas. Sometimes I thought we were levetating off the bed it came down so hard. I would Not recommend this cabin to those who want to sleep at night!
Ship tip
Get a room in the middle of the ship and have a late supper so you can enjoy the shows.
Did not do an excursion. Should have. Walked around on our own. Took the 382 bus to the train, the train into the city, and then reversed it back. It was an interesting walk. The cathedrals were beautiful, but the surrounding areas were a bit...hmm...interesting! Pretty in some areas, not so in others. Do the ships excursions and save yourself a disappointing day on your own.
Nice port, but rainy and cold. Took a walking tour and got soaked from the get go. Make sure you take raingear and an umbrella if you take the walking tour.
My absolute favorite port. Took a tour up into the mountains and it was absolutely lovely. The countryside was pure, scenery was breathtaking, and we got to throw some snow around at the top! Magnificent!
Don't know what all the hype about Iceland is about. Found the history quite interesting, the waterfall amazing, and the rest of it quite boring. Blue Lagoon? Not my cup of tea. Too much money and too much hype over something so silly.
Second favorite port! Lovely countryside, a fabulous tea on the highest point of Ireland surrounded by the most beautiful countryside! Worth the drive to see postcard sights.
Busy on a Friday night, but again, beautiful Ireland. Enjoyed our day in this beautiful country, but wish we could have had a pint and fish and chips in the city...just too crowded by the time we returned from our tour.
