I definitely recommend the Norwegian Spirit. Great ship, great staff, fun time. It may be the oldest ship in the Norwegian line, but its age is only 20 years, which is not old for a cruise ship.

There were no problems at all with embarkation. The Spirit staff was friendly and efficient.

Food and Dining

The ship's dining rooms were very nice. We mostly dined in the larger Windows Restaurant every night. The food was very good, but not exactly haute cuisine. However, no complaints. The Raffles cafeteria was efficiently run which is where we ate breakfast every day.
Onboard Activities

We did not really participate in any of the ship onboard activities.
Entertainment

The entertainment was wonderful. There were great singers, magic acts, a Beatles tribute band and a fantastic aerial acrobatic act.
Service and Staff

All the ship staff we encountered were excellent, professional and friendly.
Ship Quality

The ship is very well maintained and attractive. The only downside is that it was a little difficult to get from some floors to the next floor because of the where the staff quarters were located. But really no problem.
Cabin / Stateroom

We knew we had booked an inside cabin, so we had no problem with it at all. There is a lot of storage space in such a small cabin.
We had an early flight from Rome on disembarkation day, so we were happy to be able to walk off the ship at 6:30 am handling our own bags. We took a cab to the airport with no problem.
