12 Night Grand Mediterranean (Barcelona To Venice)

Sail Date: September 06, 2016

Reviewed: 9 months ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Itinerary was great with plenty of time in ports for exploring. Ship was fair but has a very attentive staff. A little too much cruising between time Dubrovnik/Kotor/Venice (would have been a plus to arrive in Venice before 10 PM).

Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin & balcony on small side.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Quickest & most organized we've ever encountered.
Ship Quality
Dated but due for refitting in January 2017.
Destinations and Excursions
Great itinerary.
Onboard Activities
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Average in dining rooms. Buffet never varied selections.
Barcelona, Spain
You should extend and stay here a couple of days. Las Ramblas is a must see & do.
Toulon, France
Maritime museum is worth seeing.
Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy
Florence is a must see. Make sure you have a map as it is easy to get lost.
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy
Naples, Italy
Mykonos, Greece
Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Acropolis was fantastic.
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Take the shuttle or taxi to Old Town as it is a long walk (wife thought it was uphill both ways). Euro's not accepted here.
Kotor, Montenegro
