Review summary

Don't pay attention to any of the bad reviews; we had an amazing cruise and would have missed out on an unbelievable experience had we been frightened off by bad reviews. The destinations alone make this experience worth the price of admission. You visit 6 countries (Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain, France, Vatican City) in 12 days, and the excursions offered by the cruise line are phenomenal. The entertainment on the boat was a wonderful surprise as well -- some very high quality performances and impressive acrobatic acts! The food on the boat ranged from fine to very good, and there are plenty of spaces to lay out on the deck if you wish. Our room was directly underneath a night lounge so we did hear some dancing/noise nearly every night, but that's a small price to pay for such an incredible experience. We highly recommend this cruise for anyone who wants to explore the best of Mediterranean Europe!

It was a small cabin that served its purpose (great size bathroom for the the room though!). It was directly underneath a night lounge so we did hear noise nightly starting at around 10pm.

Ship tip

Arrive on time to the theater when the call excursions. They are unbelievably efficient. If it says your excursion will leave at 7am, you will leave at 7am.

Venice, Italy

Don't be fooled - you are not in Venice for 2 days. You are in Venice the day you embark and then leave at 1am THAT NIGHT! They make you think you leave at 1am the following evening, but that is incorrect. Arrive to Venice a day or so before your trip so you can explore it on your own. It's an incredible city - no need to book an excursion with the cruise ship.

Explore this city -- don't leave for home until you've seen Sagrada Familia or Casa Batllo. Easy to do on your own with taxis -- no need for a cruise excursion.

Totally agree. Just got off the ship one week ago and thought the ship was beautiful. Food brilliant and ports of call excellent !! We had a ball and would di it again in a heartbeat !! Don't listen to bad reviews !!!

Thank you so much for this review, will be doing 12 night Mediterranean September 18, 15 must say I was getting nervous by some negative reviews. Glad to hear cruise line excursions were good, I have booked all of mine through cruise line. Feeling excited and looking for to this new adventure. Happy cruising
