Review summary

This is a very busy trip but wow. We seen so much and was just amazed by all the sights we saw on this trip. Be prepared for bus rides. It seems like every excursion we had was 30 to 90 minute bus ride. Each excursion did provide a bottle of water and pointed out bathrooms that you could use without having to pay. However, have 1 to 2 euro with you just in case. Ladies make sure you have toilet paper with you in Istanbul.

Our best meals were off the ship. Buffet was repetitive and kind of bland, lots of options just seemed like the same thing over and over. The main dinning in Windows or Garden was ok, never had a meal that came close to the wow factor. Room service will cost you $7.95 unless you want a muffin and coffee.

The last show of the cruise was really good. The rest were ok. The seating in the theater is ok most movie theaters seats are better.

Our 16 year old stayed very busy on the ship and had a great time with the programs they had for his age group.

Our cabin steward SanJay was awesome :) The cabin worked very well for the 3 of us. We were on deck 10 at the rear of the ship. It was nice as buffet was straight up on 12, theater was straight down on 7 and The Windows dinning was straight down on 6.

Ship tip

A beer will cost you $6.75, a mixed drink will cost you $10. Deck 12 all the way to the front is a great viewing area. They love to sanitize your hands getting on the ship and before every meal; nothing wrong with that.
