Review summary

We loved the freestyle cruise because we could go and eat wherever, whenever, dressed in just about anything we wanted. The food was amazing, the ship felt new and up to date and the service was wonderful.

There are two main dinning rooms that are included in the fare. Each has the same menu with a variety of daily specials and some constants that are always on the menu. Everything was delicious. There was also a bufet that was open from early in the morning till about 9 at night and a 24 hour dinner.

The staff was extremely nice and accomadating. My only complaint is that since virtually all of them were foreigners and english was their second language, sometimes communcating became tiring. Everyone spoke english but some more clearly that others.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

This port felt like it was built just so that cruse ships could stop there. The beach was nice but there was nothing else there. No city, just a bunch of bars lining a stretch of coast. We loved the beautiful warm water.

This port wasn't as pretty as the rest. The water was rather brown in the bay area. We went and saw the ruins which were cool but overall less exciting than some of the other ports we stopped in like Roatan and Cozumel.
