The ship itself was great. The food was good. Room service was slow but efficient enough. The maid staff was outstanding. I was sick and they would come twice day to clean my cabin. The front desk did not resolve a credit dispute nor tell me what info they had. The medical staff never called to check on me as promised my first day sick. On the second day they rang my room near midnight.

Before going on the cruise, we had read many negative comments about the cruise and were a little worried. This was both of our first cruises and we really enjoyed it. The cruise ship was extremely clean and the service was great. Everyday we would go to our room for maybe an hour to watch tv and relax, when we would return to our room later on in the afternoon the stateroom staff had already been in to remake our bed and to check to see if we needed towels or anything else. The food was good. It helps if you do not do the buffet everyday for every meal. The other restuarants offer great selections with delicious food. Excursions were a bit too high for us, so we just walked off the ship to explore the towns on our own. We walked to local beaches and walked around the straw markets. Bingo is a must, but be prepared it is rather expensive. We were also not aware of a automatic charge on your account per day per person to 'tip' the people behind the scenes. That was quite the surprise to us. Overall, we really enjoyed the freestyle cruise and would love to go again!

nobody speak in spanish we just have one show no activities aboard, no picture with the captain,only one buffet restaurant.

This ship has nothing to offer a family only a person who wants somewhere to sit and consume drinks

This ship was not the ship I was told I booked, only the name was the same, there was nothing for the kids the food was not anything other than whats in most kitchens. The ship is old and not anything other than an old hotel.

I really enjoyed all the parts of the ships from the spa to the relaxing plantation lounge. There is always something fun to do when you want and always something nice and relaxing when you need.

The crew of this ship was super friendly and efficient. They cleaned everything up right away and made sure that you were well taken care of. The ship did not seem full and that was very nice because we got into the restaurants we wanted to when we wanted to.

The ship was very nice and all the dining options were fabulous! It was a smaller cruise ship than the ones I am more used to, but it was still a great ship and had plenty of activities and things to do in it.

The captain of the Norwegian Sky should be very proud. The ship is beautiful and the staff is amazing.

Pretty boat but not the newest or largest. Many amenities and entertainment on board. Really old karaoke list.

Interaction with crew and cruisers

Our first time on a cruise and we weren't sure what to except. It was fun and one of most relaxing vacations. The entertainment was great. We will be doing this again in the future.

Ship was good, Freeport stop was ghetto, food was NOT good!

Almost every meal was substandard, both the buffet and dinners in the dining room. Had only 2 good meals (actually only 2 good foods, the lobster and a beef stir fry dish). Weren't enough lounge chairs situated around the pool/spa area. Cruise director and comedian were very good overall though. Enjoyed Port Lucaya and Atlantis.

The Norwegian Sky and its Staff were just incredible. The free style dinning and the food was simply incredible. The staff on board the Norwegian Sky were so attentive and pleasant, it was a joy to experience all they had to offer. The staff worked so diligently to ensure that every passenger was comfortable and was enjoying their time on board. In my honest opinion, the staff impressed me the most with their constant and genuine efforts to please every passenger. Our experience was great for our first cruise.

This cruise is perfect for first time cruisers and for young people. Young as in 20-50. The clubs and lounges have a variety of music like 70's dance music, but the party for people between ages 20-30 doesnt start until 11pm! Thats when It goes down. You will sometime see some older adults dancing too but mostly its young adults. This is great to party and have fun. Ive been on this cruise before with my parents but wasnt much fun until this time I went alone with my girlfriend. By the way most of the people partying on the ship are couples so if your single dont think you will be so lucky. In a nutshell it is a great cruise to party have fun and discover the bahamas if you yet havent.

For a first time cruise my friend and I had an amazing time. All the staff were so great and so knowledgeable about what was going on. The cruise itself was beautiful and there was always so much going on. The events did not disappoint and neither did the different shows presented each night. Especially enjoyed the top deck with the pool and hot tub (though it was salt water which made it rather uncomfortable to swim properly) and all the space to just lounge and relax. The freestyle dining was also perfect, we could eat anytime anywhere and not have to worry. With exception of the first port, it was nice to get off the ship and explore the area and the timings, daily schedules and maps and staff were great resources for planning our day!

If you're looking for a cruise to relax and get-away this may be for you. there are plenty of places to sit quietly with a book or a drink. Note there's not a lot of entertainment or kid programs. Although I was not cruising with my family this time I was paying attention to the family programs that were being offered. My overall impression is that I would not travel this ship with my kids because they don't have enough activities to keep them occupied. Also, on our last night the cruise closed the pool @ 8pm while adults and children were still on the pool deck with their bathing suits on.
