My overall impression was that it was an experience but might not recommend that exact ship. We couldnt wait to get off the ship. It was okay nothing GREAT.

All ship personell were very plesant and attentive. Food at all outlets was excellent. The only drawback of the trip was that the main pool was closed 3 of the 4 days of the trip. This is one of the ships main ammenities and should have been a priority of being in operation.

Had a good time. Took beautiful pictures with the family. The island that we visit Great stirrup cay was beautiful. The variety of foods and places to eat is excellent. Most of the staff is nice. The stateroom is old but the house keeping is excellent. Fun activities every day.

Older ship - well maintained but still showing its age. Steward was attentive. All staff was very friendly. Food was great (especially the bakery) but service in the main dining rooms was a bit slow compared to other ships. Our day at Stirrup Cay was cancelled due to weather and no perks were offered to make up for it. Snorkeling equipment was expensive to rent - $30 per day for each family member.

NCL Sky gave me a very solid introduction to cruising. A 4 day trip was timed just perfectly. Not too short, and not too long. No full days at sea. All in all, once the seasickness of the first day (apparently an abnormally rough stretch of water) wore off, the cruise experience was delightful. I'll cruise again for sure.

It was very clean

I generally don't take the time to write reviews--but this was a great cruise. It was a first cruise for my husband and our 3year old. Ship was super clean, the staff was constantly cleaning, catering to us, super friendly. The buffet menu changed daily and the food was great--I couldn't believe all the food they served I guess the worst part was just trying to control how much I ate. Itinerary was perfect--not too long, action packed each day as we stopped at different islands. If we take another cruise I'll definitely stick with norwegian. Thanks!

It was a fabulous trip! Other than the bed everything was perfect!!! I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a quick getaway! Thanks NCL!

1st cruise experience was a very nice one on the NCL Sky! The ship was practically full to capacity but it was possible to find less crowded areas all times of day, no trouble going to dinner. The room was very nice, definitely liked the balcony view, especially when leaving ports, great photos! The food was quite good, particularly in the specially restaurants. The only two issues we really had was the initial safety drill...everyone was called to the assembly stations where we stood very crowded for quite some time only to be shown how to put on a life vest, nothing about the life boats, etc. And...the windows were water marked and streaked everywhere. It was definitely more than just sea spray, even our cabin window needed some windex...when we got back to port and they were spraying off the boat with a hose that kind of explained it but it would be nice to go back and squeegee.

I will never cruise with Norwegian again as long as they allow smoking indoors.

The ship has a problem with communication. They didn't provide any details of the embarkation procedure, for example, leaving the guests to work it out for themselves. We didn't find out that our room was not ready until we arrived at our stateroom. None of the several crew members we talked with prior to reaching our room volunteered this information. The announcements were brief, not very helpful and could not be heard from our stateroom. No information was provided about the ports or the destination country except how to spend your money there and where to shop. The ship plays loud music constantly in common areas that you cannot avoid.

For the money it is a good trip. I thought the boat was dated, and seemed like it is in need of a overhaul. The food was not as good as on a Royal Carribean ship but adequate. Adagio was horrible, and to be a extra cost dining option, a total disappointment.

After cruising many years before, two bachelors and I wanted a depart from the daily activities. I found the ship large enough to be impressive and small enough when 3 people are packed into a room. Glad we had a balcony room. Poor accmodations for sleeping the 3rd. person in the room. The itinarary was very weak.

Although I have cruised before, my three companions were all first-timers, and all agreed that we will definitely do this again.

Good for the price you pay

We noticed the efficiency and friendliness of the crew members. They did an excellent job in all areas. Television should have provided weather and location information. I had to ask a vendor on the island just where we were because one of the staff looked in the computer and said the middle island in Bimini. As experienced sailors we are very familiar with the Bahamas and had a hard time recognizing just what position we were at. People should have been informed that most of Nassau is shut down on a Sunday. We were very disappointed because we had been looking forward to seeing the museums.
