hard to get around, no deck chairs on promende deck

The ship was beautifully maintained with lots of woodwork and yet we still felt like we were in a grand hotel.

Very clean, friendly staff, good variety of things to do.

The staff was lively and fun. The ship was clean and continuosly being cleaned. Though there wasnt a great variety at the buffet it was good enough for a family cruise. We enjoyed it

It was so relaxing I will certainly pick NCL in the future!

We really enjoyed the trip aboard the Sky. Great crew, awesome ship and so many fun adventures along the way. Really set an amazing memory for how cruising should be.

Overly agressive bar staff and pool deck staff. You can't sit out by the pool without being asked at least every five minutes if you want to buy a drink. The ship is smaller than most, probably because it's such a short cruise. There were no evening shows or entertainment other than the cruise director talking and a brief comedy skit. The crowd tended to be younger than most cruises, but during the summertime this ship is overran by children. If you want a place to let your kids run amuck for summer vacation, this is the cruise. If you are looking for a romantic adult weekend, try a different cruise. No dancing on this ship unless you can salsa. And no adult pool or adult quiet areas.

First exposure to FreeStyle cruising. Loved it. Great ship. Food was good. Great entertainment. Can’t wait to do it again. Found the staff friendly.

We had a great time, the facilities on board were great, the restaurants, lounges and theater were all wonderful. Overall we truly enjoyed it!

The ship is beautiful and very clean. The idea of freestyle is the best on the market however, the staff on board is what makes me rate this ship so low. I've been on other cruise lines and the staff was extremely attentive. The staff on other cruise lines made me feel like royalty. The staff on this cruise acted more like fast food restaurant workers. It was unbelievable. They didn't smile or even pretend that they cared what you needed. The freestyle idea is great but the two main dining rooms required you to wait every night. If I wanted to wait 45 minutes to eat and have the hostess give me a buzzer to let me know when a table was ready I would have stayed at home. NCL wants you to pay extra for their other 3 other restaurants on this ship, the specialty restaurants. You pay $10-25 to eat at the specialty restaurants and if you want something "special" at those restaurants you have to pay extra on top of that. We stuck with the non-specialty restaurants but the service was so slow and uninspired. I hope anyone who paid extra got better service.

The pool did not appear to be large enough to accomodate everyone.

FFirst impressions are the last impressions. As was dropped off our luggage we were asked to verify all was there. After that was told now how much is it worth to you to make sure it is on the ship. You had better give me a tip. The worst trip I have ever been on in my life. No more than a floating beer keg with poor service. Not for a family. You will be nickel and dime everywhere.

The ship was clean and in good condition for an older ship, however the layout is poor. The room was extremely small, even for an inside cabin. The rear deck area and bar was nice with ample shade however the bar closed early. This forced you into the center pool area where the only outdoor bar that was open late was located. The DJ at the pool area played music not suited for the crowd ( with the exception of the white hot party night ) at ear splitting volume even though on most nights there were only 20-30 people in the bar/pool area. This made it impossible to hear one another even when yelling while seated at the same table. It was enough to drive you away. The only other bar areas open late were the smoky casino or the ( appropriately ) loud disco. Food was extremely average, and dont order the ribeye, it belonged on a roll with onions peppers and cheese. It was about as thin as a good Philly steak sandwich steak. 

I enjoyed this 4 nighter immensely. Travelled on quite a few ships, but this was the most relaxing. There's things to do if you wish. The ports of call are well-worn, so if you have done the Bahamas just stay on the ship!! Loved it!!

Well trained staff that really functioned. Check in was so so but onboard was very classy. People did their job and did them well. Never saw the Captain but so what, the ship went and left on time in an orderly fashion. Photographer were a bit over eager at many points.

My family loves to cruise but this was our first time on Norwegian. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the freestyle dining the most with great food in all the different restaurants and the buffets. The layout of the ship was most accomadating. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We hope to cruise again with Norwegian.

This is our first cruise and we liked it, very relaxing and very good service. We have a group of 10 with 6 kids and the staff were very kind dealing with kids. Room service more than once a day. The private island was also good. Do not recommend any snorkelling tour on the first day since it is as good as the private island (and cost more). When you book, need to make sure the room has the right number of beds, especially if you have 2 persons but not a couple.

Overall, for a $1,049 cruise for 4 people on a budget, try a newer and better ship. This was built in 1992 i think. Second oldest.

food in dinning rooms --Crossings and Palace---left a lot to be desired! the food was overcooked and underseasoned and one pasta dish-gnocchi with sausage--tasted like dishwater; asked for a medium cooked prime rib and it was cooked well done and dry.... Il adagio italian restaurant-- lines of people waitng for their bisquick pizza. paid $38 to have 11 items of clothing pressed and then only received 8 out of the 11 items back! took them another day to find the other 3 pieces. the outdoor cafe bar offered hamburgers and hotdogs everyday--bore!! the wait for food was very short in the main dinning rooms...we used Bath and Body Works spray to wash our cabin walls down because of the smell...and the bathroom had a smell of sewage all the time...one port of call--Freeport--needs to be taken off of the itinerary---it looked like it had been recently blown down by another hurricane! not much to see there; and our bus driver to the Garden of the Groves showed us everything from the clinic to where you can buy a used car to where you can get cheap insurance for your used car! over inflated lunch prices at the garden--try $19 for shrimp!!
