I absolutely loved this trip..Lots of energy ,The staff was awesome.I met lots of great people on this trip .I would recomend this trip to everyone.I opted for the guarantee ocean view stateroom (first time)..It was beautiful..roomy view was not obstructed at all !!! 

My husband and I enjoyed the cruise itself.  Other than the length of time it took to get food in the Palace/Crossing dining halls, we have no real complaints.  With that being said, we are still very disappointed in the customer service received prior to sailing.  We booked our trip months prior to our friends (who we convinced to come with us).  They paid $300 less for their trip.   Despite being extremely disappointed with this, we didn’t even ask for a refund of the difference.  All we asked for was the internet package as my husband had to do some work while we cruised.   The “best” that could be done was a $65 credit.  We were told by a representative that we would have been upgraded to a suite, but none were available.  About 3 days after that conversation, we began receiving emails about upgrading our room to a suite for a few hundred dollars more per person!  We are already looking at booking a future cruise, but will be looking at other cruise lines first based on this experience.

Perfect little ship for a weekend getaway!!! No waiting in line, no reservations to make to keep, you can show up at show time and get a seat! Wonderful!

The 4 day cruise started off just fine. Food was good, drinks were good and service was good.   The first night we noticed that when we flushed the toilet, water would come up from the shower, and when we showered the water didn't drain so it leaked out onto the carpet.  By day 2 the problem was finally fixed.  Day 3 we noticed the carpet was soaked again.  After a THIRD call to maintenance, they determined the AC was leaking.  We needed to leave the room so they can fix it and dry it.   The blowers were in our room all day!  The smell of mildewed musty air was disgusting!!!  Luckily it was our last night and we were one of the first ones to debark the next morning.  Couldn't get out of there fast enough.  Our eyes were burning, and my husband my husband ended up with a respiratory infection.     While On board, they apologized with a fruit platter.   We wrote a letter and are still going back and forth with them.   By the way - we provided pictures and medical records.  We aren't scammers looking for a free cruise.   Their idea of making things right is giving us a $150 per person credit for a future sailing.  No refund (not that expected a full refund, but at least maybe the deposit ???).   Why would I want a credit for future sailing?  I have to pay them to sail with them again? That's insane!!  Had they offered at least a partial credit, I would maybe sail NCL again and give them a chance.   Now after their lack of consideration, it's not worth the risk.

Hello there cruise community. My wife and I just got back from our first cruise together on the Norwegian Sky for 4 nights traveling to Nassau, Great Stirrup Cay and Freeport. 

We booked this cruise because of the all inclusive drinks they were offering which in the end turned out to be a real saver for us and made it less stressful in the fact you weren't having to swip a card all the time when you ordered a drink.

The staff on board were all very friendly and wiling to help with any question except for one photographer who after we declined a photo

from him made a smart remark to us that we didn't want any evidence of us being together. Insinuating that we weren't there as a married couple and there under different reasons.  I told him that we were happy married and he opoligised but the damage was already done. 

The food on the ship was very nice. Just a few dishes could have used abit more seasoning. We never experienced any time waiting at the buffet or waiting for a table at the dining room. 

We loved the fact that you wake up in a new port every day. I enjoyed Great Stirrup Cay the best. The water and the beach was amazing. They have a buffet area for lunch and the bars are open for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Nassau  was beautiful as well. We did a shore exclusion. This included a one hour bus ride around the city and then a hour and a half at Ardastra Gardens. On the way back to the port we stopped at the beach for 10 minutes. If we do the cruise again we would just stay at the beach and town areas lol day. All of which is within walking distance of the boat. In fact you can see all the boats in the port from the beach area. 

We stayed in a inside stateroom because of the fact you aren't in the room very much. It was a little tight but we expected that. If you pack light and don't have big bags you can manage. If we wanted to see the ocean and get some air we just went up deck to the Great Out Doors bar area. 

The mid part of the ship deck was where the main pool and bar is. If you like the party and music atmosphere then this is the spot for you. 

We spent most of our time at the rear of the ship were it was much quieter. 

I had read other reviews saying that the SKY was showing its age. I didn't see this to be the case. Everything was clean and in working order. 

All in all we had a wonderful time and would definelty book again with Norwegian and any of there ships. 

It was all right but it just didn't produce the wow factor than I'm used to from Carnival

Great 1st cruise in 2016 and I'mlooking for a repear pretty soon. Lovely staff and ultimately, unlimited liqour through the Caribbean. 🤤 It was absolutely amazing!

I like the intimacy of the size of the ship and amount of passengers. Also, the freestyle is the best, eat when you want and have the restaurant experience with whom you want, not the same people at the same time every night. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the Stirrup Cay island the best, kind of a getaway from a getaway.

fantastic!!! good service.. good food... an old lady but very elegant.. the staff was very good with many pool parties. good atmosphere and great execution!

Loved every minute of the 3 nighters it was my husbands 1st cruise I was a bit apprehensive with his experience and I can honestly say he loved it. The free at sea was great not having to put your hand in your pockets every time I wanted a drink. Staff services food all fantastic would cruise with Norwegian again.

Embark was smooth and easy.  Got to the waiting area at 11:15 and they started boarding at 12:00.  Took our carry on's and went straight to the buffet to wait for our room to be ready.  Food was ok.  The one thing I have to say, the people working on the ship were excellent.  They would go out of their way to do for you.  At 1:30 our rooms were ready.  When we opened the door to our room (9028) my jaw hit the floor.  I have been in inside cabins bigger than this one.  It was a balcony room and was able to fit 3 people.  I can't see 3 people in this room.  It was hard enough having 2 people in the room.  The bathroom was so small.  Other than the small small small stateroom, we had a great time.  Food was just ok, but the staff EVERYWHERE were great.  We ended up tipping extra to the waiters, our room attendant and the bars!!!!!!!  They were really appreciative.

It was nice; it smelled like pee in our bathroom. Out butler changed the light bulb and curtains 4 times. The restaurants were wonderful. And this ship does not have studio and haven.

For a short cruise it was fun! The alcohol was all inclusive on this boat and included in the price of the cruise. The food was okay, not terrible but not the best I've had. The cabin we had was interior and it was nice, but it could have been cleaned a little better. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would recommend this boat for anyone looking for a short getaway.

We loved this cruise. We haven't sailed NCL in a long time and it was really a joyous experience. We loved everything about this cruise.. My only complaint would be that Cheap Cruises really lived up to it's name. The promised on board credit we were told we would be getting didn't materialize. In spite of that it was an excellent adventure.

We sail on June 3rd-6th. We were very amazed with the outstanding service we received during our 50th Anniversary on the Norwegian Sky by your staff. The staff went out their way to make this cruise very memorable of which we will never forget. The Captain came to the Dining room to congratulate my wife and myself and this make us feel so special. Will always cruise wit Norwegian. Thanks a million. Leonard Roberts 

This was a great cruise for the money spent with the all inclusive drink package.  There is not much I would change from the amazing food to the highly energetic staff.  The only thing is I would be hesitant to take my children on a cruise where alcohol is all inclusive, due to the spring break atmosphere.  This is not a bad thing it was fun and had lots going on.  I highly recommend it to any one looking to have a good time.

We had a great time. Food was outstanding. Crew was very helpful. Would do it again in a heart beat. Plenty of space for everyone on board never felt crowded. Always somewhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine with a nice frozen drink in hand.Very good value and very easy getting on and off the ship. Nice mix of people young and old. Something for everyone.

Had a blast on the Norwegian Sky... It was our 1st wedding anniversary and 1st cruise as well... The staff was very helpful and nice, did not have any issues. The food was great at Cagney's. Some of the cafeteria style food was ok but it wasn't that bad. We had dinner at one of their dining rooms and it was great. We would sail again on the Norwegian Sky!

Nice ship.  A little older, but still clean and comfortable.  Great getaway with my wife.  Staff is excellent in their demeanor and service.  Pool deck can get a little rowdy, but still fun.  Loved the BBQ on the pool deck.  Recommend for a quick getaway with your significant other.  

This was my first short cruise with NCL and it was fantastic!  I typically always went on RC for short weekenders but I will more than likely always use NCL moving forward. Reading some of these reviews, I couldnt help but think to myself - did you not do your reserch before? Yes, it is one of the older ships of their fleet- as all short cruises typically are on all cruise lines. However, everything has been refurbished- new furniture, new carpets, etc. Also, if it is All-inclusive with drinks wouldnt it be reasonable to anticipate a younger crowd? Especially during spring break?  With that said-  I went with my boyfriend, were in our later 30s. We did not witness anyone getting out of hand drunk and that says a lot because we were very invovled in all social activites. And yes, they limit you to two drinks to circumvent any stupidity, makes sense. There were never any outrageous lines to board the ship or at any of the bars. The staff is what separates NCL - all energetic and friendly! The food was good, not great but its a weekend cruise, be realistic. They throw a great white party so be sure to pack white- its their thing and done on every cruise- short and long and its a blast! They have great activities which are conveniently scheduled with few overlaps. The only thing i wish was that kareoke didn't end at midnight and if thats my only "complaint" I think we're looking pretty good!
