I wasnt please this time because of the itenary change and the being at sea all day with a very rough sale.

We drove 11hrs straight and waited about an hour from parking to being on the pool deck on board the ship. (Pro tip: put on sunscreen before you pass out in a lawn chair). They let us know which in the first hour that we’d e going to Cozumel instead of the Bahamas. After visiting Cozumel I’d rather go to the Bahamas any day but I’d never been to any part of Mexico before so that sounded exciting. We took a quick nap and hit the hot tubs then the club after dinner. We’re two single guys, and let me tell you, there were plenty of beautiful ladies to talk and dance with. Not mad about that one bit! Didn’t know it at the time but key west was the best port of the trip. Very pretty town and you Americans don’t try to swindle you every step of the way like the Mexicans did. At least lost Americans won’t lol. Friend lost his iphone on the trolley and they found and returned it! Can you believe that? I couldn’t, so good vibes all the way around there. Another night at the club and we woke up to Mexico. First things first, the cops are not your friends. I mean like their only job is to try and take money from you. It happened to us. Best bet is to avoid contact at all cost. If you can make it back to the ship I’d limp back there before asking for help from locals. Now that you’ve got a good idea of the environment you can have a good time, just keep your head on a swivel. You do have to do a bit of “posturing up” to the local populace which is not really what I want to have to do on vacation plus I’m from the south and I’m generally nice/courteous as a default… but the beaches are absolutely stunning. The water is like bath tub clear with a slight tint of blue. Visibility underwater is like 25+ feet. This was in the afternoon too and as most know that’s when the water is dirtiest due to incoming tide and choppiness of the surface etc. I highly recommend snorkeling if you’re a decent swimmer. Bring or buy gear as crazy as it sounds it’s cheaper than renting plus once again they’re always trying to swindle or alter deals on you. Just go ahead and buy a cheap rig for like $8-$20 (we bought the $8) and then when you’re done give it to a local. Win/win. There’s also a lot of good deals on leather products sunglasses etc in town especially if you’re a good negotiator or speak Spanish or best if you have both skills. That being said that place gets “dark” quick. The same guy that’s trying to sell you weed is also trying to sell you heroin and girls. We didn’t investigate further but judging by the seediness of these guys it seemed like sex trafficking. Disgusting human beings who have no regard for human life. These are the people that you rent the scooters/jeeps from etc that are also friends with the local cops. This trip really opened up my eyes to how good we have it in America and I’m grateful for that! That being said, “build that wall” and I didn’t vote for the orange man. We survived and made it back on board. Cleaned up and back to the club, crew was getting pretty tired of the guest by this point and you could really start to tell. By the last day they shut down the pools by draping nets across them and shut off the WiFi. It was raining off and on more so than it was earlier in the trip so it really left everyone with little to do. Plus with out WiFi it was near impossible to coordinate with anyone you met on the ship on where to hang out. Would I do it again? He11 yes!

Terrible terrible food; I couldn’t to disembark to eat off the ship

We were cancelled from Cuba and rebooked this cruise to Bahamas on the same ship. We were upset to hear how people got really cheap last minute deals and the ship was not full yet our offer to upgrade our stateroom was not considered. We were told to call 3 days after we got home to receive additional Cuba Credits by the Cruise next director on board. When we called no one knew anything about that.

I had a good time and met some really nice people. I am a solo traveler so I do wish I could find less expensive cruises.

Overall, we were not happy with our cruise. The food in the main dining room was fantastic with great service, but overall, everything else was below average. I would rate our overall experience as a 4/10. I do not intend to book with Norwegian again after this negative experience.

This cruise could have been better. I wish I would have had an option to cancel it when I found out about the itinerary change due to Hurrican Dorian. Everything seemed thrown together due to change and there were not a lot of activities planned when it was change from 4 stops to only 2. If I could give this cruise experience 0 star I would.

The only thing that was a huge disappointment to me & to all passengers I spoke to, was the last-minute itinerary change as we were given a flyer upon arriving at port which confirmed email details about “2 days stay in Cozumel”. Instead, we got Key West, 1 day at Cozumel & 2 sea days. Terribly disappointed with that last minute change, basically not honoring the initial change of plans due to Hurricane Dorians impending landfall, as we had originally booked a 5 day 4-port cruise, and that alternative seemed fair & equitable to us passengers. Bad call NCL. Bad call indeed! Of course no one could predict how bad the weather was going to get with Dorians arrival, so the overnight stay in Cozumel & 2 sea days seemed at the time like it was a great alternative. Key West is beautiful ~ but it rained most of the morning .... thank you NCL....🤔

The itinerary was changed to avoid Hurricane Dorian. We had a very smooth sailing and great weather. The crew did the best with a difficult situation not of their making.

It was really disappointed and maybe illegal not to be able to cancel the cruise 2 days before, because noone answered the phone after being 40 minutes waiting and 200 euros of cellular because I was calling from Spain. The chat did not work and not email was found to send the proper cancelation. I do not know if I still can do anything to recover my money , but at least to use my awful experience to set an email address or improve the ways you have to cancel the cruises.

I was very disappointed in my current cruise with NCL. I have cruised before and I have never had an experience like this.

This was my first cruise and it was great. I will definitely be back soon.

Great Fun! Loved Our Trip! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Everything was good, not a cruiseship I would travel with kids but exactly the type of weekend getaway my friends and I were looking for. This is the 2nd year in a row we go on this boat for our anniversaries.

Although we did not get to go to Cuba, we still enjoyed the cruise overall. A nice, smaller boat that provided good service and food.

All in all, this is just an ok cruise. This was our first cruise, and we had high expectations based on everything we'd been told about cruises. This didn't meet those expectations for certain. We had a good time, but I am hopeful the next cruise vacation will be much better. I would not go to these ports again and wouldn't cruise on this boat again. For the price, it was fine, but it certainly wasn't what we expected. (And, we never got a towel animal! I thought that was standard. We were very disappointed in that.)

We had a great time! We are already planning our next trip to come back!

Was my second time on the Sky. I hope it stays fun now that they will do away with all inclusive drinking. Hope they will keep the entertainment the same and keep the pool side parties & fun going !! The staff are kind & accommodating. Courteous & professional. I truly had an amazing cruise experience and would go again and again. I do wish they would refurbish the cabins.

We took this trip because we needed a break after experiencing five losses within a very short timeframe. It was just what the doctor ordered: pleasant, affordable and relaxing. We love cruising with NCL. Royal Caribbean is nice and has larger ships but cannot match the great service and cleanliness Norwegian offers. If you are interested in great port destinations, consistently pleasant shore excursions and clean accommodations, NCL fits the bill.

The cruise was fine. Again, I was set on going to Cuba, so when the itinerary changed to go to Bahamas was not thrill but I knew it was not NCL fault and I like cruising, so the cruise was fine for that reason.
