This was our first Norwegian Cruise and we were disappointed not to see many of the things we have seen on other cruise lines ie first timers meetings to explain how things work, complimentary coffee and continental breakfast room service in the morning, more opportunities to share a table at dinner. If that's not what you're looking for, then you will probably like this cruise The Itinerary was great and the size of the Sky was good

Main dining room was great (except that we only managed to share a table once) buffets were crowded and we had to get our own drinks from poorly located drink stations. We did not try any specialty restaurants.

our main activity was trivia, which we enjoyed. The staff did not write their own questions and some were poorly worded, but we managed to muddle through. Pool was very crowded.

Stage shows were great, comedian was ok (we did not go to his adult only show) We couldn't get into some of the shows in the lounges

Other than main dining room staff, service did not deserved the highest tip rate on an ocean cruise. buffet staff was for setting out food and clean up only. you had to get your own drinks from poorly placed drink stations, Room stewards cleaned room once daily and did not bring ice. (wouldn't have fit in the fridge if they did)

Common areas were clean, but layout (especially in buffet areas) was poor. There were many choke points (like toast station) whose lines backed up past other areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was small, refrigerator was small and not deep and didn't cool very well. drying string in bathroom went across room rather than in shower so we had large puddles
customs was easy, but it would have been nice if you would have explained it pre disembarkation We were in line at least a half hour after our cols called
Appreciate your feedback. Not sure what other cruise lines you’ve sailed (none listed), but several cruise lines you get your own drinks on the Lido (or wherever the buffet is). Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of the inconvenience.
