Review summary

We loved the Indulge Food Haul, wish the hours were longer, the ports were wonderful with breathtaking scenery, Wish the entertainment was better and they had more of it.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
We were flown into Reykjavik, Iceland at 6:00am the day of embarkation. The cruise line was at the airport and took our luggage upon arrival. We were taken by bus to a hotel location and given breakfast. However, when we arrived at the port, it was about 10:30am and the cruise prior to us was still getting off the ship. We stood in line for a while outside a temporary building until it was so opened up and had to sit there for a couple hours until allowed onto the ship. Not the best experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The specialty dining we tried (Cagney’s, Los Lobos and Hasuki) were delicious and the service was superb. The main dining rooms for dinner were not so great. The choices were a bit odd and the food wasn’t always hot. The buffet was ok, too small in my opinion, especially for breakfast. It was very difficult to find a seat.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The onboard activities such as the speedway and pools were nice.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
There was not much entertainment at all! There was ONE show for a 10 night cruise! The musicians onboard were good, but the venues are so small, you often could not get to see them perform. The atrium lacks seating for the amount of people looking for something to do each night. This is an area that definitely needs much improvement.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Most personnel were kind, helpful and went out of their way to help us and answer any questions we had.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and well-maintained. I noticed some tables outside were already worn even though the ship is less than a year old. The ship’s layout and design are a little different than we’re used to, but still very nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was comfortable, great size and clean.
