The ship was amazing the staff was very friendly and helpful and did everything possible to ensure you were enjoying your vacation.

THE CREW MEMBERS WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES. THEY ARE ALL HARD WORKING. THE ORGANIZATION OF TOURS AND DISEMBARKING FOR PASSENGERS WHO WANT TO GO SHORE THAT HAVE NO SCHEDULED TOURS COULD BE HANDLED BETTER. EXAMPLE GOING ASHORE TO SAMANA WAS A FIASCO. AND GETTING OFF SHIP TO CATCH TOUR WAS ALSO FIACO. OTHER PASSENGERS WOULD NOT STEP ASIDE TO GET TOUR PASSENGERS GET BY....

Most of the staff did not speak English. When asked questions, they often smiled and walked away, or went and got someone who could understand you. Compared to a previous cruise line, this cruise charged extra for EVERYTHING! If you didn't want the buffet or main dining room, all other choices were extra $$. Also had several restroom issues.

It was our second cruise. Everything was average, nothing exceptional. The price was affordable, but of course everything was extra (normal for cruises).

Very nice cruise over all but don't book in March, Too many teenager in spring break. They took the control of the 2 hot top everyday till 7:00. We left for dinner and pass in front of the pool and they were ther !!!! partying in the corridor also. My uncle had to call reception at 2:00.

The ship was well run and all the staff were very helpful. The room was small but very thoughtfully laid out and I had room to unpack and feel at home.

We sailed on the Epic in december 2010 and did not like the ship .The Pearl however is a very nice ship with quality furniture ,the ship is well deseigned and extremely clean .The food is very good and the personnel very pleasant.

EVEN THOUGH WE PREFER SMALLER SHIPS, THE NORWEGIAN PEARL WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THAT MORE THAN MADE UP FOR THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS.

Overall the ship was excellent. I was expecting less and it exceeded my expectations.

This was our first cruise with the NCL and we were very impressed. We felt that the crew really tried to make it an enjoyable experience .Activities were organized and good quality .

Ship was just OK. Dining room staff was awful! Our room was the pits. I think they literally took a broom closet and turned it into a room! I know ship rooms are small, but this one was literally 60 sq. ft. smaller than average rooms. Window was blocked by a life boat. (We had run of ship and this is where they stuck 3x returning customers!) Every "experienced" (@ our 13th time cruising) cruises that I spoke with said they would "NEVER" come back on that ship or even take another NCL cruise. Samona - don't bother - filthy dirty island! Nothing there. Feel sorry for the people there, but when you pay to go on a cruise, that island IS NOT what you deserve at all! Shame on them for taking people there!!! Oh and another thing about our room. We had lights go out 2 different times. Took 2 days to fix the first time in the room, then last day, bath lights went out - we didn't even bother, we just wanted off of the ship!

Were a couple in there early 30's, active and easy going. If this sounds like you don't go on a cruise. We heard the saying "just married and almost dead" many times on the cruise it was more of the later. It was almost a retirement home, no one awake after midnight. When you get off the boat, they don't tell you that it take awhile if there is no dock. Small boats take people to shore. At times we only had four hours on shore/ not relaxing when u think u might miss the boat.

The NCL Pearl is modern, clean and has a Caribbean feel. Even though our ship was sold out, we never felt in a crowded area, never waited long for dinner or pool chairs. The ship does not have a grand central atrium like many others, but we liked that layout as it made for more intimate spaces and better use of overall ship space. There is a space for everyone's tastes on this ship!

The ship condition is fine considering its age. Most public areas are clean but some are not. I could see dirt on gym equipments which I did not see when I was on this ship 2 years ago. Overall it was okay.

The ship itself is fine, but the food, crapy night life, the uhappy misreable crew, the embarkation and worst of all the disembarkation process, places you visit (Samana, is a dump! St. thomas is allright, tortola it's ok and the prviate island is nothing to brag about), surrounded by tons and tons of kids (Good luck trying to use any jacusi during your trip., unless you want to spend additonal $100.00 dollars for less crowded jacusi) and it's not exactly you thought it would be............... By the way I am not picky person at all and very easy going NCL pride itself as free style, all that really means is you don;t have a set time for main dining room that's all and nothing else! Comparing this with Celebrity cruises or Royal Caribean, and well you set yourself up for dissapointment.,

We enjoyed mostly everything about the ship except for the smoking allowance and unfortunately it put a damper on our trip. On our floor in particular you could smell smoke all the time, it was even coming in our room. I am surprised in this day and age people are allowed to smoke in the rooms on the ship, in Canada, there are specific smoking designated only floors or no smoking allowed at all. There should be smoking designated areas onboard for people who smoke. I am hoping you will consider changing your policy. Not only is this allowance unhealthy for fellow passengers there is also a safety concern should someone catch their room on fire by smoking in bed.

Not many entertainments activities to do that were free. Many things had charges or fees including bowling, and Wii. They put a hold of $300. on the credit card or debit card you have to put at the port registration. The gratuities are discounted everyday regardless of the service received. The service in the buffet restaurant is not so good. Also, 3 out of 7 days our dinner at the main dinner took to long to arrive. Some of the waiters were friendly and took details with us, instead of just asking for our order. But overall, the waiters in the main dinner did not do any activities or shows for any guest. Dinner time was boring.

Very clean and comfortable cabin. Wonderful restaurants and staff.

Ship was very well maintained. Everything was always clean. The staff was exceedingly nice and helpful.
