Review summary

We had a magnificent experience on the Breakaway in the Baltic. The pearl was noisy and poolside activities were loud and juvenile. NCL turned what could have been a super European cruise into a crappy Caribbean style Frat Party aimed at the 21-35 age group. Tender ports should be avoided. NCL could not organise the tenders from shore to ship. They put an effort into disembarkation but could care less about the chaos, queue jumping etc that went on at dockside for the return.

NCL did not have staff dockside to ensure a smooth transition. There was chaos and queue jumping in the baggage hall, transit busses v taxi lines were not delineated.

Sorry you were not pleased. We have been in Europe on the Gem and Jade and never had issues with loud crowds anywhere on the ship. This is unfortunate.

I agree about the noisy pooldeck but tendering was really good during our July cruise on the Pearl.
