Ship tip

It’s not a big ship, carnivals are Bette. They Nickle and dime you on everything you do. We spent anothe 900.00 just on drinks and activities on board. To bowl, it was pricy considering lanes are not waxed and not good. Everything was extra! No sodas for free, just horrible sour juices. I would not take this cruise line again. The only good thing was the young man who took. Are of our cabin. He worked hard

I don’t have a clue what the reviewer is talking about when the indicated you pay for shows. We have sailed on the pearl four times and never payed for a show or at any of the free restaurants. The pearl is a great ship and NCL is no different than any other cruise line when it comes to additional charges.

We sailed the Pearl 12/17 and it was GREAT, no issues, saw a show every night, completely agree with njoylife and dsorel.

As njoylife mentions, all the shows are free on most NCL cruises, including the Pearl! Only the bigger ships, some shows you must have to pay. But been on Pearl last year and I never had to pay for a show. And like all other cruise lines, yes some stuff like specialty coffees or specialty restaurants or spa treatments or bingo, you must pay extra. I love their freestyle cruising!

The shows are free, the ship us nice. Extras are bingo, bottled water, special coffee and stuff like that. We have sailed NCL 22 times and love it. I hope you do too.

Was hoping the shows were free.

Are you saying you have to pay for the shows? First time with this cruise line. Going in October on this ship and just wanting to know what to expect

We didn’t care for it either. The ship is beautiful but the entertainment and activities were lacking. Our saving grace was seeing beautiful Alaska.
