We had a blast, would do it again, just wish the weather was a little better

Review summary

Had a great time for do it again but this time get a balcony as there is so much to see as you're cruising in Alaska. We enjoyed you sure excursions and shopping. However I did feel there was way too much hype and sales pitches for the Diamond International

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Loved the buffet, indigo and the Summer Palace was my favorite. Had dinner one night in Cagney's and the lobster was not very good big disappointment since that was a pay meal.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I attended two of the Arts and Crafts the picture frame and box and thought that they were great and the supplies were easy to use. I would have liked an adult only jacuzzi AZ the pool seem to be filled up by kids most of the trip.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Comedians were hysterical I miss the variety shows but heard good reports from other people on board

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We particularly loved our cabin Steward Christian. But the staff in the Garden buffet where the most cheerful I've seen.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
I felt comfortable in the cabin however my husband preferred to use the public restrooms as his knees would hit the wall if he tried to sit down.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
One of my favorites nice and clean and plenty of places to walk around and see

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Though it is a small Port we spent most of our time on the train which was a great experience

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Rained way too hard and we really didn't get to enjoy this part at all

Victoria, British Columbia

1 out of 5
Too much of a big city and too expensive to just get to town

Disembarkation

The ship has this down pat. No long lines no crowded elevators. Seem to work quite well

Agree on so many points; do it again, balcony, ignore DI. Triple agreement!
