Review summary

This cruise is at the top of my all-time best cruise itinerares. The weather was perfect and no rain. All ports were quaint, and people were very helpful and friendly. Halifax was my favorite. Peggy's Cove is what you picture of a quaint fishing village. Don't forget to make room for a lobster roll at Tom's. The Titanic Cemetary was very moving, and I learned much more about this tragedy on this tour than I knew.

Embarkation

Great. Very quick and organized

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the food venues were great. Portions were adequate and service over the top

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Walking was my main form of activity. I loved the view that I had each day

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I saw all of the shows and they did not disappoint

Children's Programs

I don't have kids and there were only 30 kids on the ship. We all loved that.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We could not have had better wait staff and room attendants.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very spacious even though we had over 3,00 passengers. Of course, the elevators are always a problem. Too crowded. I take the stairs when I can.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
NCL could do a better job utilizing space. The closet is too close to the bed, and you can hardly open the doors. Not enough drawers, only open shelf space which I do not like. Our king-sized bed was only inches from the wall and it was very hard to get past the bed to go the couch. My husband is 6' 5" and his feet hung out over the bed. He had to move when I would get up at night thus disturbing him.

Ship tip

Pack your patience. One the first day, get your bearings and explore the ship before you sail.

Ports of call

Quebec City, Quebec

5 out of 5
No excursion. Came in two days before the cruise. What a wonderful and old city. Weather was perfect for exploring and people were so welcoming.

La Baie, Quebec

4 out of 5
Not much to do there but a quaint town.

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

5 out of 5
Beautiful town to explore and shop.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
Another quaint town to explore and shop.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
The town was larger than the others. Beautiful city. We took an excursion, but not with NCL. Titanic cemetery and Peggy's Cove. Our guide and the day were amazing.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast and organized. We walked off our own luggage and all went smooth. Transfer to the airport was efficient.
