We had a good time for a family cruise. Would avoid sprint break in the future if we can for a slightly less crowded vacation bit anytime you are sailing is better than week in Canada in March.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Embarkation was long as there was an issue outside of NCL's control on the previous sailing. Check in was quick but they didn't start boarding until slightly after 12. The new terminal is clean and large though so until there were a couple of thousand people it was very comfortable
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Ocean Blue was great. The local was quick and consistently tasty. Teppanyaki was fun and entertaining. Main dining wasn't as good as when were on in November but still good. Buffet grew repetitive by the end of the week.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Footloose was once again cancelled but e
Elements was a lot of fun.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Our kids loved the kids program. Despite it being Spring Break and having more than 1000 kids on board we never had an issue with drop off or availability and didn't have to show up early for place. Concellors were fantastic.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was a bit slower on this cruise with the amount of people, but the whole team was great and always went above and beyond. Our room steward accommodated our schedule with our young family and looked after every request. We had to interact with guest services twice and they were quick and easy to deal with. One member in our party lost there key card on embarkation day and a random staffer from the box office was waking through the hall and helped us all book everything we needed for 4 cabins for the whole week while we were in the hall.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Always clean. A few chairs and tables are looking a little worn, but the ship is 6 years old.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very clean. Easily fit 4 people in a regular balcony cabin.
Ship tip
Leverage main dining rooms for breakfast and lunch whenever you can. Service and food quality are great.
This was a new port that was added to the schedule to replace Honduras, and how fortunate were we. Very under developed but very clean and with great beaches. We will look for a future itinerary with Bimini!
Appreciate your details. Also avoid USA Thanksgiving (Canadian Thanksgiving is usually okay) and Christmas. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of the crowds.
