Somewhere in the all the travel documents, I read that we were supposed to get a free ride into town in the ports of call. Didn't happen. The open bar was a nice feature, but the free internet was very difficult to log on. Additionally, in the Atrium where almost all of the guest business was transacted, the music or Game Announcers were so loud, we had to shout at the officer behind the desk to be heard. Why was everything so loud?
Embarkation

A little confusing but we got through it. We did not have to pretest for Covid before we got to the pier as we tested right before we got on the ship
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Most of the meals were soso. On several occasions, my entrees were so tough, I could not cut them. Drinks were good.
Onboard Activities

The pool deck was so loud we could not enjoy it. Did they think everyone was deaf? You really had to time it down to the minute if you wanted to borrow a book. She was never there.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the comics and the shows.
Children's Programs
no kids.
Service and Staff

All the wait staff were very good. However, the officer making the announcement had such a strong accent could not understand a lot of what he said. If you're leaving from the US, get someone who speaks English clearly.
Ship Quality

Its' the cleanest ship I have ever been on.
Cabin / Stateroom

When the ship moved, the walls would creak. Coul not sleep with all the noise. Never happened on other ships before. Had to get another cabin. No floor space. No electrical outlets on either side of the bed or in the head. Had to use an extension cord to plug in my CPAP machine then avoid the cord on the floor when we went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Smallest cabin I've ever had.
Better then most because we could leave when we were ready. After waiting in line to check out, I was told to see the purser. Since I had paid by credit card - no reason. Then they wanted me to get back in that long line again. I refused. Finally, they made a space for me and I got off the ship.
Sorry, hit the wrong link above.
I have some sympathy for Richnsue because we have been on other, not all, NCL ships where the music and announcements were so loud as to be distorted, I’m guessing as an attempt to create a young, party atmosphere for adults who are capable of creating their own cruise experience!
A QUESTION we're not going till July. Do we have to get a rapid test covid to go how many days before. And a test when we get off in New York to come home . How does this work.
