This was a great memorable trip for my husband and I (grandparents), our 3 grown daughters, one son-in-law, and 2 grand babies, 3&6. A cruise is a perfect place to have different ages so everyone can do their own thing. Everyone had a good time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
My plane got bumped to a later flight and because NCL had made the arrangements, they were waiting to pick us up and whisk us to the ship. We walked right on board, no waiting.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate mostly at dining rooms and 3 specialty restaurants. They were all really good. I think I gained about 5 lbs. Buffet looked good, but one of our group was on crutches, so the buffet was not practical for us. But some restaurant, like the Local, was always open.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We went to Footloose, Elements, Cavern Club, Wine Lovers-The Musical, casino, kids club for 3-6 yr. olds. All were good. Cavern Club was my favorite. But the kids loved the Splash Academy and begged us to take them there when it was open. They had lots of fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We loved the stage shows and the "Beatles" were the best on the ship! We didn't go to the clubs.
Children's Programs

They loved it! When we picked them up, they wouldn't want to leave.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered was friendly and efficient. Il Bistro wasn't very friendly, but they don't like having children in there was my guess.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The layout was fine, the ship is really big. Seems like we had to go from front to back every time we went somewhere. It was amazingly clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Concierge suite, quite suitable for us and our 2 daughters. The couch made into 2 twin size beds. Adequate storage space and good bathroom. It had a double sink and a bathtub with a shower. The room steward freshened our room every time went out I think. And we rarely saw him! But we always had clean towels and empty trash cans.
Ship tip
Comfortable walking shoes, prebook your shows and meals far out from your cruise.
No ship excursion, but got one of the pier people to take us around for $100 for all day. It was just right. We saw the top sights, got to stop where we wanted, and ended up at a beach with a restaurant with good food and lots of sand for the kids.
we went on the Pirate Ship Excursion and it was amazing. We loved every minute of it. You are assigned a personal pirate to take care of your group for the day. Max was so attentive! They feed you 2 really good meals on the ship (breakfast and lunch) and take you to a beach to hang out on. They had beach stuff like kayaks and banana boats, all included. And Max learned our favorite drinks and followed us around on the beach and served us anywhere. It was another amazing day.
We met our concierge in the Smokehouse and he led us right off the ship, no waiting. There was a short line at customs, but not too bad. Overall, one of my best disembarkations ever.
So glad to hear you had a great time! We are booked in June 2021 with our daughter and grandson in a consiererge suite. Sounds like we made an awesome decision. Thanks for sharing!
