My husband and I have been on three other cruises together and we both agree this was the best. But I am also a strong believer in you have as good of a time as you want to have. Was the cruise and everything about it perfect? Absolutely not. Did things go wrong? Absolutely. But we chose not to sweat the small stuff or even the medium stuff. And we had an awesome vacation!

This seemed to be one of the less popular places for dinner (because there was always openings for reservations) but we really really enjoyed it. With the food credit we were each able to choose 4 things off the menu and they were great!

I overly all was super impressed with the lunch and dinner options here. Obviously, as with any food, some things were hit and miss with flavor, but overall this is one of the best buffets I’ve ever eaten at on a cruise ship. The Indian food they had was incredible. Definitely as good as any restaurant I’ve had. I only gave 4 stars because breakfast got a little monotonous by the end of the week with the food restrictions I personally have, but otherwise fantastic!!
Onboard Activities

I only give medium because we really didn’t do a whole lot, so I can’t really say. But when we did go down for trivia, being in the atrium made it hard to hear and see with so many people always up walking around and talking so loud,but the trivia itself was fun. Other ships I’ve been on had trivia set somewhere off the main drag, so that it was easier to focus.

We didnt sit around and listen to any of the singers really, but we did go to footloose and elements. Footloose was just ok, but I always enjoy watching a live show either way. Elements was incredible! I would have went to that more than once if we hadn’t waited to see it on the last day. It was SOOOO much fun!

We never had a bad experience with anybody. Everyone was very, very nice! One night in the dinning room we got up and left after dinner because our waitress took so long to come back with dessert menus, but who cares. It’s not like we didn’t get any dessert that night, we just went to the buffet. Other than that slow service though everyone was very quick and attentive to us and our needs. I honestly felt like the workers were as kind to you as you were to them. If you gave them even a little smile, they would always go the extra mile.
Ship Quality

I thought the decor of the ship was beautiful and looked high quality. The other thing I really, REALLY appreciated more than anything though is that it seems like most rooms were designed to minimize noise!! Even in the dinning room it had sections and walls and pillars so you could actually hear your partner talking and have a conversation. It seemed like common areas were designed to actually be enjoyed and not just hold people. And as far as cleanness goes, I felt like the did an excellent job of trying to minimize the spread of germs, especially since the cruise before ours had illness occur. I really liked that the roped off the plates, utensils, and condiments, so that you were handed those things instead of it being a free for all.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the room didn’t bother me. Obviously it isn’t anywhere close to the same size as a actual suite, but the size was just fine and the bathroom was plenty big. I’m biggest complaint was the noise from the Liverpool bar beneath us. They didn’t play super long into the night, usually done by 11 at the latest, but if you have a early excursion it sucks. I usually check for those kinds of noise problems before booking a room, but only saw the shopping under us and didn’t notice the bar. The bed was also incredibly hard. My husband LOVED having a coffee maker in the room though! It was super nice for the morning cause the buffet is so far up.
Ship tip
Be clean in the public areas! Every other day of you life you can be you and do, hygiene wise, whatever you want, but not on a cruise. You’re sharing a living space with thousands of other people and no wants to get sick because you don’t want to take 20 seconds to wash your hands. Also, if you want a reservation at ocean blue, do it as soon as you can!
Cabo was also a beautiful area. We did the sunset sail and got to see some whales so that was an extra bonus! And the little snack box they served was very yummy! My least favorite part are the vendors right at the beginning of the port trying to sell an excursion or some souvenir, I understand they are trying to make some money, but being that pushy is off putting to me. But being on the water or exploring some of the beautiful scenery, it’s easy to forget vendors.
This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. We went to Yelapa as part of our tour and went to see the waterfall which was awesome!! I would go back outside of a cruise and stay here it was so beautiful.
This was definitely my least favorite stop. We did the bus tour which was not the best. If I went again, I would get an open air taxi and ask to go to the water front area by the beach to eat at some of those food shacks and sit by the water.
