Overall very relaxing well organized cruise. We loved the Free Style Dining in which we could choose any restaurant and any time. It was easy to make reservations on board right from the screens in the hallway. Ports of call in Alaska were fantastic, staff was very cordial and attentive. The captain was amazing in how he could handle the ship in the tightest of spaces (turning around in a narrow passage at the glacier!!!). Food and coffee were the only small negatives - not as good as expected but will sail NCL again.

Food and Dining

Breakfast buffet in Garden Room was excellent with lots of choices and friendly staff. The 3 main dining rooms were lovely, attentive staff. Food was adequate. Did not really enjoy most of the desserts and the food was good, not great. We loved Le Bistro's specialty dining - wait staff was impecable and the food was delicious - finally an amazing French Onion Soup and fantastic entree and dessert. Lobster and Filet in Cagney's was delicious, soup and dessert as well. The Prime Rib was a bit chewy.

Too chilly for us to use the pools although some younger folks did. My husband enjoyed the fitness center. The Rum Class was amazing.
Entertainment

The 2 shows, Elements and Footloose were very good with great talent in the casts. Could not get into either The Cavern for the Beatles show or Q for Country Western as they were packed each time we tried.

It was very clean and beautiful. Loved the huge observation deck on 15 with comfortable chairs, places to relax and read, enjoy a snack and get a drink - also watch for whales.

The bathroom was much bigger than on other cruise lines. Bed was very comfortable and well maintained. Missed having specially folded towels on our beds at night.
So easy getting off the ship. Taxis waiting right outside to take us to our hotel. Loved Seattle with free shuttle service during the summer to take you all around the city.
This was our favorite place, probably because it's small and easy walking. Saw whales right from the beach. Lovely little shops, museum and restaurant within an easy walk from the ship.
Had tickets for the Big Bus Victoria which came an hour and a half after we got to the bus stop. It was to be a hop on hop off bus but since we didn't get on til after 2 and it ended at 5 we decided to go straight back to the ship. The informational tape was not working and our driver didn't have a microphone so it was a total waist. Don't confuse this with the Hop On Hop Off Bus which was running frequently.
Amazingly fast and easy. Called us by colors on our luggage tags. Luggage waiting for us by the exit - did not have to stop - right out to the taxis. They also had a plan where you could get your boarding passes for your flight home and have your luggage sent right to the plane. Wow! We didn't use it because we stayed over in Seattle for a few days.
