Review Summary

We really enjoyed ourselves on this cruise. If we had to do it over again, we would go later in the year when the salman were running, since then we would get to see more bears.

Very easy and quickly done.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We ate in Cagney's, the Q and the Italian specialty restaurants and they were excellent. Savor and Taste were also pretty good. The Garden Buffet not so much, breakfast was not good, but the evening food was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We watched some of the games and they were the normal cruise ship games and nothing to write home about.

5 out of 5
We went to see Footloose and it was excellent. The rest of the musicians didn't play the type of music we like, so we didn't pay much attention to them.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I thought the service was top notch. The bartenders kept me in drinks, the service in the restaurants was excellent. Our room steward was a very nice man and helped us a lot.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and easy to get around. No problems with getting on the elevators and finding where to go.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was pretty comfortable, the right size and was kept very clean

Ship Tip

Relax, bring a good attitude and enjoy yourself.

Ports Of Call

Seattle, Washington

We got on and off the ship there. Didn't think much of the city.

Ketchikan, Alaska

The port was ok, we did the Lumberjack show and the Duck tour. The Duck tour wasn't worth the money. We liked the Lumberjack show,

Juneau, Alaska

We went to the Mendenhall Glacier, it was a disapointment since the glacier was almost a mile from the Vistor Center so we didn't get close to it.

The ice flow in the bay was too much and it wasn't safe for the ship to go in there.

Skagway, Alaska

The port was nice, we did the White Pass Railway tour. The highlight of the tour was visiting the Red Dog Saloon and Brothel. The girls were funny and told some good stories.

Victoria, British Columbia

The town was very nice, we went to the Butchant Gardens. If you like plants and flowers this is the place to visit.

It went very fast once the doors were open, customs was a breeze. We used the port valet service, which transfered our luggage to airport for free. I thought this is a great service, since we didn't have to deal with luggae until we got off the plane until we landed at the airport.
