Review summary

It was expensive. Will go where it is much warmer next time, although weather was OK for the season that it was in Alaska. Tours were high priced also. Would rather stay more at the pool during the day. Seafood night lines were way too long. Better process needed. Crab legs were difficult to open without a cracker.

I do research about Alaska and the cost of living is more expensive so I expect to pay a little more for the excursions. It’s always nice to get some good recommendations for those excursions.

Everything in Alaska is more expensive. The cruises themselves are not always more expensive if you go at the right time of year or catch a special. Norwegian is offering $229 for a week for an inside cabin if you can leave in the next two weeks. But the excursions are 2 to 3 times what they generally cost in the Caribbean. This is due to the higher cost of living in Alaska, the short cruising season and supply & demand.
