Choose the sit down dining at Tsar than the buffet.
DebfromPgh
This was a fun ship with many different options for dining & activities. Tsar's Palace is a beautiful dining room with great food & service. At the end of our cruise, we decided this is the place for dinner each night! Lots of great shows & entertainment each night. Be sure to participate in the activities!

Get a balcony if available.

They have excellent breads.
turtlebot
Watch out, they will lie and con you on upgrades.

Take good walking shoes. Ocean view cabin was nice, but not much room.
jenyliu
Do not go with them, if you really want to go, booking with Norwegian official website, not priceline

Bring a jacket unless you are used to the cold.

Look out for Leo...the best entertainment on the ship. And, avoid Garden Cafe...so many better options!
kristilh
Avoid wasting money in at the Spa. Overpriced and one of the worst manicures I've ever had. They're more focused on selling you expensive products.
egorham
you will love it! Call Chris Festerman as he will take good care of you.

Going to Alaska, you need more clothing for layering.

We loved the mid-ship balcony, starboard side for our northbound cruise.

Sign up for special dinners on your first day, good times fill up fast

Be prepared for mediocre food, many folks trying to sell you things, and I would recommend a balcony room if you are in any way clostrofobic.
maderj
Bring your own straws
sbunce
Have a great time
bumblegirl
Don’t use garden cafe
kczerniak
Get a balcony view, you can still see everything off the deck even with the rest of the passangers but it would have been nice to be able to see everything from the comfort of the room as well. Ship does make turns so one side is not excluded from views.
