Review summary

we would cruise on the Jewel again. The cruise tour was well orgainzed and we saw a lot of Alaaska, particularly Denali. I have already recommended the cruise tour to many friends.

Embarkation

we were all prebooked but they made us line up and wait. This was not efficient and frustrating. Once we made it to the front of the line, the staff helped move everyone along quickly. Luggage arrived quickly.

The specialty restaurants were excellent! The buffet was good but very crowded. Dinners became repetitive in the main restaurants and it was not helpful that both restaurants had the exact same menu.

70 music was the theme and it got old very fast. Music in the lounges was not the best. The main group was ok but 70s music. Cirque is getting old.

nicest cabin ever. we really appreciated the roominess and the full bath with a tub and separate areas. the balcony was roomy and there were ample spaces to unpack. Lots of quiet and very nice cabin stewards. thank you chris festerman for selecting the best viewing cabin. Chris is the best.
