Unless you really like pushy sales people, avoid the Spa and the Fitness center. Any "free" seminar from the Spa or Fitness Center ended with them trying to sell you something. Some were extremely pushy and did not seem to accept a polite "no" for an answer.

Ask the Food/Beverage Manager to encourage the wait staff in the Tsar's Palace NOT to clang the dirty dishes so loudly while stacking, to lower the din they create & quiet the room. Also NO small babies in the upscale venues like Le Bistro: noisy & disruptive & causing an atmosphere of distress !

When the restaurant wait staff gets pushy, push back (if you're not in a hurry). Have that cocktail and make them wait. Give yourself a couple of minutes to look at the menu and wine list. Relax.

Everything from the first day you get on the ship to the last day when you get off the ship, it was a great experience. The staff, crew, entertainment, meals, excursions, views, scenery, cleanliness was exceptional.

Floor between 7 & 12 would be very helpful. With most activities 7 or 12, it's a lot of stairs or time waiting for the elevator. 124 steps from our 5th floor to the 12th for main dining, pool, kids club, Spinnaker lounge.

Negatives: Apps clunky... shipmate worthless, econcierge worthless. Internet was unsatisfactory, slow, and inadequate. Internet service this bad should be totally complimentary. No good reason to have to pay extra for it.

Don't expect a lot, the food is mediocre at best and there is hardly any activities especially if you don't drink, and definitley not for small kids, they will be bored. Cruise carnival for kids, next time we cruise we are going to Hawaii and will be traveling on Royal Caribean. Some people may love this cruise line and think all is wonderful, to each there own, this is just our opinion of our experience.

If you eat breakfast or lunch in the buffet, take your food into La Cucina. There was always plenty of room and a much better ambiance! Walkie-talkies work great to keep track of a large party. Tip for Alaska- get up early! Great views and wildlife sightings!

Plan plenty of time to just explore the ship and all the different things offered onboard. Eat at all the offered dining spots and then go back to your favorites.

Captain is Swedish and talks v-e-r-y slowly. Wake up announcement and day's factoids at 0645. Then the cruise director. Then the activities director. Amazed the ship's chef didn't chime in.
