Review summary

Trying to arrange a transfer was a challenge. First young woman I spoke with told me all transfers were sold out. She was clearly having trouble understanding English. Thankfully, I spoke with Harry the next day. He arranged for our bus transfer quickly.

Ship experiences

We enjoyed every restaurant we went to. Special mention to ChinChin and Cagneys Steak House.

Onboard Activities

$80 for three games of bingo? What a fu**ing ripoff.

No kids.

Service and Staff

99% of staff were anywhere from adequate to exceptional. On the last day we the displeasure of encountering an angry, resentful and disruptive bartender in the Spinnaker lounge. He clearly hated being there. His face showed his disdain for all customers sitting at the bar.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall, a nice boat/ship. The golf nets were a bit cheap looking as well as the clubs provided.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cleanliness was very good. Our steward did his job adequately. A safety corner needs to be added to the bottom edge of the wall cot. After putting away suitcases under the bed, I attempted to stand up only to hit my head on the metal bottom corner. This produced a 1 inch gash in my head bled profusely until I could get pressure on it. Medical assistance was non existent. Going to Deck 4 was useless because I was injured during business hours. Not a great way to start our cruise. FYI, I was sober. Ship hadn't left port. Despite vigorously following the advice of "washy, washy" guy, my wife and I both managed to pick up a case of Cruise Line crud as well (a respiratory condition of some sort that began on day two and is finally going away today 08/19/23).

Ship tip

A second cruise is very doubtful.
