Choose another Cruise. We have been on Disney, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and yes even Carnival. You will fare much better.

After Embarkation, we had the usual "What to do in case of Emergency" drill. Only problem is instead of going to our stations, we were ushered into one of the public areas and given a short demonstration. ?????? Not sure what the purpose of that was.

Awful. Felt like a cheap buffet. Food was not good. Even their main dinning rooms, Azura and Tsars was not good at all. Worst food on any cruise line. And we have been on many. Trip to Alaska and 1/3 of the offerings were Thai/Asian Cuisine. 1/3 hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc. The other third was awful. I don't know what recipes they are using, but they need a new recipe book/chef. From entree to desserts it was terrible. My grandson had hair in his food twice, one of the times at Tsars. Yes we have a photo. We won't be back.

The staff was wonderful. From front desk to room steward to the Washi Washi.
Ship Quality

Ship was kept very clean. They put a lot of effort in maintaining a clean and healthy ship. Ship design was ok. Atrium smaller and less noteworthy than other cruise lines.

Unless you make a prior reservation with a bus service, good luck. We felt strong-armed by a Taxi company and ended up paying $750.00 for 2 taxis to Anchorage. Driver was quick to tell us he was the only option and if we didn't decide right away, he would take someone else and we would be stranded. No rental cars available. Not much help in Seward with problem. I feel this needs to be made clear to passengers once cruise is booked. Last cruise on a different cruise line was much better handled.
