Review summary

This was my 3 cruise, first time on Norwegian. First Ill start with our cabin. We had a mini suite with balcony room 11586 that I really liked besides the dated and worn fabrics. The layout was nice, tons of storage and roomy bathroom with full size bathtub. The balcony was spacious with 2 chairs and a small table. But be warned the coffee is twerrible. Our room Stewart Karl was great and was always happy and pleasant to speak with. Next the Food. The buffet was typical buffet style food. Not fantastic, but usually warm and edible. The irish pub was the WORST!!!!! On 3 separate occasions we tried to eat there and between the service and the food it was a disaster all 3 times. 1st time the order came out wrong with unfriendly server. 2nd visit early morning buffet breakfast we got up to get our food(which was cold) and I'm not talking Luke warm,I'm talking COLD to find that the hostess seated another family at our table (that we waited 15/20 minutes for) they did end up moving them after I hunted someone down. 3rd visit waitress was extremely rude, took order and served my son his main course during my husband and I had appetizers, then brought me my dessert of Apple pie and ice cream before my main course of a cheeseburger. My son got his appetizers after his main course. It was a mess and I probably wouldn't have minded if she was at least friendly. So we never went back. The main dinning rooms were all good and the steak and service at Cagneys was fabulous! I guess if your willing to spend an additional $100.00 on dinner for 1 night you get better service. The over all ship was nice, I found it neat and clean. However it was boring!! I'm talking nothing to do all day long. The main singer was terrible. We suffered threw one performance and could not bare anymore. The comedy, magic, and acrobat s were really good. But most shows were only at 7:30pm and 9:30pm so on those sea days there was nothing until then. They had bingo that cost us either $30/40 for 3 rounds. And a couple other things but mostly nothing to do unless you are into art auctions, jewellery or shopping meetings. Game room was packed so we did grab a game to take to our room to play and brought it back when we were done. The tv had very few channels and played the same movies over and over again. I wanted to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie, and it was good the first time or 2, but after about the 6th time it got old real quick. And then I got lucky to see it again on the flight home :) So bring a few good books (they do have a library)and pack some games. Try to eat at the specialty restaurants and hope they get a new singer for their main acts because she was a Hot Mess!!! Oh also Keith the new entertainment guy was really nice and funny but I had no idea what he was saying 75% of the time.
