Some disappointment

Sail Date: May 07, 2016

Room Type: Suite

First of all Alaska is STUNNING.  A must do cruise.

The check in for embarkation was a nightmare compared to our other cruises. Long Lines, Long Waits, Poor organization.  Hundreds of people crammed into small stuffy hot unorganized areas.

Debarkation was a mad frenzied crush of UN-organized lines and crowds waiting for too few buses.

We were disappointed in the size and amenities of our "mini-Suite".  It is comparable to a Balcony class on our other cruises.

Our stateroom steward was one of the best in our experience.  We Loved Cristian.

Food and dining were excellent and all staff were exceptional and made us feel like we were family.

Probably would think twice before booking another NCL.

Cabin / Stateroom
Not a true Mini-Suite. Comparable to Balcony size cabin. Not enough drawer or closet space.

Very well kept and clean by our excellent steward Cristian.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Wont ever book NCL thru Seattle again or any other cruise line that uses this contract facility.
Ship Quality
Older but very Clean and staff were wonderful.
Destinations and Excursions
Whale watch in Juneau.
Train to white Pass a must do, do not skip this excursion.
Onboard Activities Did not participate
Entertainment
Shows were good
Service and Staff
Excellent.
Food and Dining
Room Service charges a 7.95 Service charge for food ordered to room. OUTRAGEOUS

Tip

Dont book through Seattle. Take your own bottled water if possible. bottled water is not included in Beverage Pkg.
