If you purchase a romance package prior to cruising print the package details and take it with you. At check in, they were trying to short us until we produced the print out with details. Then it was not a problem.

My advice would be to use another cruise company. We have sailed on Princess, Carnival and Royal Caribbean and they all have been much better than Norwegian.

If you can, go when school is not out. Kids were running all around ship and hallways. I am surprised none of the waiters carrying bulky trays laden with meals did not trip over one. Night time was absolutely noisy with kids running the hallways after 11:00pm

I would highly recommend eating in the main dining rooms or the specialty restaurants and not the buffet if you want hot food.

If you like the medium ships this is the one to be on. We have sailed on many others, and since the Majesty was sold we never thought we would find a new one we loved.

Disembark carrying your own luggage as soon as you can. Otherwise there is a long line and a huge backup for transportation.

Although some reviews of ship indicate waterslide on board. That has been removed and is no longer feature on ship. Also, no video screen in main pool area as you will find on most ships. Food was really good and seating was never a problem.

No beverages in the "family pool and hot tubs". Signage wasn't clear on this and we got "stopped" by lifeguard for bringing in drinks. There are 2 hot tubs and a pool for adults that DO allow. Ask for drink PLUS a cup of ice. That way you can keep your drinks cold all the way until finished.

Find your favorite bartenders, waiters, and other staff early in the cruise and get to know their schedules and stick with them. They will make sure your experience is very positive.
