It was fun cruise both my kids kids and I enjoyed it very much. The shows were incredible with fabulous choreography and costumes.

Specialty restatrant reservations were hard to get

Great cruise once you get on

We loved this cruise despite some of the cons mentioned in this review. the entertainment was worth seeing. The food was not excellent, but it was still delicious. Desserts were their weakest on this cruise, but we still managed to gain lots of weight. The choices included two main dining rooms and a 24 hour cafe. Buffets were adequate, but not enough seating for all the guests. We just went to the buffet on our early departures for excursions. NCL does seem to charge for everything, but the greek isles were beautiful, the ship was smooth and sleek, and the staff worked hard to make it a wonderful experience.

We have been on Costa, the food was better on Costa. I do not like the fact that I have to pay extra for food, i.e your specialty restaurants bad concept.

Good cruise and good itinerary with the exception of Olympia/Katakolon

We each have cruised several times both together and separately. This clearly rated in the top quartile. The Norwegian Jade (Venice- Greek Isles-Ephesus and return) is very much a family ship. There were many teens aboard (all well behaved and pleasant) as well as a good number of smaller children. Did not present us with a problem. The pool area daily was a virtual zoo. Almost the entire time pools were open, there was loud music, either live or recorded. We did not find that relaxing, so we did not use the pool complex. The best decision we made was taking a stateroom with a balcony. That was so pleasant, and the balconies were sufficiently large that we both could sit comfortably there and enjoy the relax. Service everywhere aboard was impeccable

We enjoyed the ship very much. Organized with getting on, excursions, and disembarking. Made for an easy trip.

this is a very nice ship. very clean. great ports, with croatia, turkey and greece. excellent staff. however, everything on the ship was really, really expensive. also, everyone tried to upsell everything on the ship. also, there is a "cover charge" or forced gratuity charged at the end of the cruise. this amount is 24 dollars a day per person. 12 goes to staff and 12 goes to housekeeping. i don't know about you, but i think 48 dollars per day per room (4 person occupancy) is way, way too high. basically, ncl is forcing us to directly pay their employees. this is simply unfair. also, never actually told us this, so it came as a big suprise.

Overall the cruise was great. Loved the food and entertainment. Only big downfall was how people would 'claim' lounge chairs with towels and then leave them for hours. It's not a reflection on the cruise, just on people and how annoying they are. However, the cruise staff could do a better (or any) job of policing it.

The ship is very nice. The stateroom was great. The service was very good and the entertainment was outstanding with a great cruise director.

We didn't expect much other than an above-average cruising experience since this is our 1st "Free Style" cruising trip. The Jade offers more than we can expect.

Didn't like the $450 gratuity I had to pay at the end of the cruise

Too much smoking areas. Diner was mostly bad. Old TV in the stateroom. Gratuities 12 $ a day a person!!!

Norwegian Jade was a great ship and all the crew were very friendly and helpful. The check in process at Venice port was smooth. The ports and excursions we took were arranged well. Highlight of the tour for us was the "Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary" tour - a must see for everyone. The shows were awesome and so was the food. The entertainment options were plenty, so much so that we did not get do do everything! The only thing that I wish they did was lower the prices on their SPA treatments. They have a great SPA staff but the cost is just way too much

Food in main dining-sit down (Pacific Room) was not very good. Ordered a Cobb salad and the lettuce was wilted, the chicken was not fresh. However the food at the Buffet- restaurant (Garden Cafe) was quite good. Good selection-Indian food was good. The steakhouse (cost extra) food was excellent. The service on board was very good. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.

All was great...no complaints. This was our first cruise after travelling extensively and we both loved it.

The ship was very nice. There were plenty of speciality restaurants to choose from, but the food at the included places was nice. There was not enough deck space to accomodate all the pool people in high times, but plenty of room on the sun decks.

Morocco was canceled after we boared the ship. Substitute port was just okay. Freestyle is not really free. You have to pay for juice if you are not a child after breakfast. Dinning room food was just okay
