Review summary

First cruise for this 55+ adult and thought I would be bored. I was wrong. Evening shows were first rate with a mix of on-board and commercial entertainers. Norwegian Jade Cruise Director (Gary Glading) was spectacular in breadth of knowledge, talent and class, kept the ball rolling and seemed to be everywhere. Captain Mikail ? is first rate with emphasis on passenger safety. Very easy to talk to. If you like technical stuff don't miss the "Behind the Scenes" ship tour.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Sit down restaurants were The Best. Buffet was very good but pastries could have used more butter (maybe it's a Euro thing). Would have liked free soft drinks - hard to justify $6/day so I didn't.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Think out of the box and open to new activities and you'll have a good time. Didn't think I would survive a week without internet but every day has worthwhile activities. Entertainment was PG-13 and much appreciated.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Over the top. Crew is trained well to please passengers with a smile.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Emphasis on cleanliness both in public and crew only areas, emphasis on safety, openness of the crew from Captain to Cabin Stewards.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was spacious, shower had plenty of water flow and stable temp.

Pros: Washy-Washy Girl, Magnificent Cruise Director, *ALL* Staff are Friendly, Good Shows, Always Something to Do

Cons: Shore Excursions Get Crowded with multiple ships in port, Having to Leave :-( . . . .

Recommends Norwegian Jade? Yes!
