Review summary

The Jade is a great ship--with lots of options and venues. From arrival to departure, we were very pleased.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
there was some waiting for the free sit down restaurant during peak times--it could be up to an hour. There also seemed to be a disconnect between the status boards that are shown all over the ship and with the actual availability at the speciality restaurants--for example, they would show as having no availability but when we showed up, there was plenty of space available. The reverse also proved true when we tried to dine at the Italian restaurant and were turned away even though the status board showed open. Having said this, we did enjoy the food quality and varity. The Tappenyaki restaurant was one of the best we have ever dined at and was a highlight.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We were very pleased with the variety and quality of the entertainment--much better than on other cruises we have taken.
