Overall I would choose to cruise with Norwegian again (maybe a bigger ship size) and would definitely opt in for a haven suite, the staff is amazing and Norwegian would do anything to make sure you have a great experience.

I'll never go on a smaller ship again It seems like all the attention. Is on the bigger ships Thankfully I have fun friends or it would've been a different turnout.

Great cruise. Staff was extremely nice. Had fun on the Easter cruise. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids that led to the Easter bunny and a prize. Food was good even when some items are repeated in the buffet. We liked all the ports with the exception of Nassau. After going to the Bahamas several times it gets boring. I wasn’t going to pay over $200 to visit the beach at Atlantis. Ended up going to Cabbage beach which isn’t the best beach. Got the umbrella and chair down to $20 from the $40.

I’ve been on it’s sister ship, the Pearl. Like them both. The Jade, I believe was the “Pride of America” in Hawaii, is a nice ship. My only complaint is the Specialty Dinner Reservations. We boarded early and the best reservations (times) were booked. The heartache I had was that those times and restaurants seemed to be available. I think what happens is that people book those, then decide not to go and never make a cancellation. So the board alway show fully booked. I wish the reservation rules would have a show up time deadline and incorporate a stand-by system. Where if a party doesn’t show up 10-15 minutes after their reservation, it’s voided and folks in the stand-by list would be given those seats. Part of the problem could have been the number of folks with “status” that was on the cruise. Also, like someone else said. It was a smaller boat and it did cater to a more mature group; although it was during spring break.

First NCL Cruise. We had a great time. Visited 6 ports. Barbados was our favorite followed by Puerto Rico. Room steward was GREAT! Very attentive and always made sure we had enough ice & towels. Service was sometimes slow at dinner but no biggie. Will be cruising on larger & newer NCL ship soon.

Our previous cruise was aboard the Escape, a much bigger ship. Jade is much less crowded, and seems to cater to an older crowd. Jade had more of the big shows, but Escape had more "night life" kinds of activities, like a lounge with dueling pianos and stand up comedians. We were comfortable with both ships, but they are very different experiences. For the most part, this cruise had excellent ports of call. The one exception was Saint Maarten. Had we known about the continuing devastation due to the storm, we would have simply booked an excursion to a beach. The Excursion Desk staff told us they changed our excursion because Orient Beach was devastated. By that logic, the ship never should have gone to this island. However, I support the idea of going there, to help them boost their economy. But, you still want to have a good time, so choose your excursions carefully. The islands are beautiful, and the weather this time of year is perfect.

This was a great cruise and we can't wait to do it again...

This was our second cruise with NCL (third cruise overall). We will be trying another cruiseline so that we can see what differences are out there. The vast majority of our experiences were positive. Most of the shore excursions were GREAT. The nightly entertainment was WONDERFUL. I do recommend this cruise.

Jade is a smaller ship but very nice, the crew was great. Shows were very good. Enjoyed the food in the specialty restaurants.

We enjoyed this cruise. 10 days was perfect. We enjoyed having 2 sea days at the end of the trip. We didn't feel rushed to get our things packed.

This was the first time we did more than 7days it was wonderful when day 7 came and we realized we ha 5 more days . Loved the canal it was amazing and they brought someone on the ship to narrate as we were going through. Best part of the cruise.

Good choice with the Jade. Good ports of call and excursions.

I canceled a future cruise I had booked with NCL. I will not cruise with NCL again

Loved the Jade and all her staff! What a great crew to vacation with. Seeing the Panama Canal was awesome, it really is a marvel. Costa Rica rainforest was my favorite. Roatan has the best snorkeling ever! Costa Maya has been restored to a big playground and outside mall. Harvest Caye was really nice, but a bit overpriced. Loved every minute and would love to do it again some day.

Had a great time. It’s the second time I’ve been on the boat and noticed a few differences this time. I’m pretty sure it had a lot to do with the age of the guests, my guess the average age was around 75. There might have been 15 groups of people that might’ve been late 30s or mid 40s like us. The food is usually great on every ncl boat, but this time it was so bland, no flavor at all unless you got Asian or Indian food. I’m guessing they must’ve taken out the spices to accommodate the older crowd. The Mayo is too spicy crowd. Also most of the bars closed early. Pool bar closed at 6 most days but I guess I don’t blame them. The pool usually was empty around 5pm. Overall it was an amazing trip, great service and great boat.

Good ship was small but still had everything we wanted.

I think the NCL Jade is a great ship. The staff on this ship are outstanding. Always friendly and smiling. Has a great set up. NCL always does a great job in the buffet area - especially breakfast where they have 3 (THREE) omelet making stations to avoid long lines. Love it!

Love the Sky, the Escape and the Pearl most of all.
