Embarkation is always time consuming and chaotic, but it was no different than any other cruise line. But the Jade staff were very friendly and helpful.

Buffet was 3 stars, specialty dining 4 stars, and drink was 5 stars... overall 4 stars.

There were a lot of planned activities that were great, so 5 stars. But the activities that were fee-based were pushy, aggressive, and unreasonably priced, so 3 stars... overall 4 stars.

Every show we went to was impressive, fun, and very entertaining.

The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive. They all did an outstanding job. My only criticism is that quite often it was hard to understand them.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was comfortable and felt roomy, with a lot of storage. The bathroom was a little cramped and hard to access. And the bed conversion created a small rise in the middle of the bed, the entire length, which was uncomfortable. But everything else was wonderful.
Ship tip
Know where your cabin is located on the ship, and if the place you are headed is near the front or rear of the ship. The fish on the carpet point to the front of the ship, so use them to navigate as needed to your destination...
The port was beautiful and the people were friendly. The horse riding excursion was fun, but too many people per guide and the horses need a little better care.
