Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
the food in the main dining halls was fair. The food had very little change over 11 days. It was heavy and greasy. The service was very poor and extremely slow. And most of the service staff was so unfriendly. Around the 8th night the service staff got a little better but the food did not. If you wanted decent food and service you had to pay and go to the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
unless your happy paying trivia and board games all day there is not much else to to on this boat. Even the trivia games were boring with little interaction form the crew to make it fun. walked around the jogging track a lot.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
the ships crew was the main entertainment. the same every night, just different songs basically. The comedian that we saw like 4 or 5 times had very little material, the magician did the same old tricks that have been around for ever, the juggler was entertaining. we all fell asleep in half of the shows

Children's Programs

no young kids

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
the staff seemed like we did not really matter weather we were there or not. one good bar tender, Matt Washy washy lady and the crepe lady were very friendly and fun

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
old and falling apart. 2 of the chairs in the theater that we sat in were broken, the wall coverings are pealing off, carpet is filthy. we would see glasses and dishes sitting on the deck for 3 or 4 hours before someone finally picked them up. We even saw othere crew members walk right by them

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
cabin was fine, took forever for the steward to clean, I think the bed was made around 3 or 4 every day

Ship tip

dont do the Jade

Ports of call

Cartagena, Colombia

4 out of 5
short visit but interesting

Colon, Panama

4 out of 5
needed more time at the locks but interesting

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

1 out of 5
this was the port i was looking most forward to seeing, we skipped it, the caption said it was too wavy to dock. Put told us an hour and 45 minutes after we were supposed to be there. As we were getting further and further away

Harvest Caye, Belize

2 out of 5
private island. not a lot to do, overpriced, and you cant go anywhere but on the island or the boat

4 out of 5

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
