Review summary

Good experience. Could have used more sea days and less Tunisia. This cruise was one that required lots of energy as there was a port of call every day but one. The weather didn't cooperate on the first leg but didn't hamper the experience too much. I wouldn't recommend the Tunisia port to anyone as it was just not a comfortable situation. Overall the NCL cruise brand is still a brand I would recommend but a cruise with this many ports of call should come with a few more sea days to recoupe some energy.

All of the ports really had their own personality. We spent a few days in Rome before and after the cruise and we still needed more time to see all that Rome has to offer. Florence and Pisa were really neat but most of the time was spent on a bus traveling to these places, but they were amazing none the less. Monaco and Nice were great people watching places but it did rain for the entire visit. We didn't make our tour in Toulan because we went to the wrong meeting point but we made the best of it checking out the city and markets. We've been to Barcelona several times before and love the town so we had a great visit there. Valencia was a great place, we took a bike tour of the city that was great. Sardinia was also a great experience. We saw the city on a Segway tour which was awesome. I didn't enjoy Tunisia, the only thing I wanted to see were the ruins of Carthage but our guide took us there last, after taking us to two different markets, and we only had 20 minutes or so to see what we could. We took a walking eating tour of Palermo which was very interesting. The weather was kind of crappy but we made it work. I was kind of disappointed in the city as it was kind of run down but I guess that's just how it is there. The tour we took was great and our guide was very cool. Finally Naples was a jam packed day visiting the ruins of Pompeii and then the bus ride to the amalfi coast and sorrento. All amazing sites and great food. All in all it was great trip but as I said before it will require a ton of energy as the ports are all stacked one after the other and have tons to offer.
