In my opinion Norwegian is a good company offer a good service but the entertainment program is poor and don’t have all shows included the Roatan Honduras is a disaster We was very disappointed because is nestled port and people are very dishonest Belice is amazing very organized and nice place Rivera Maya is not good also but Cozumel is most better .

Rosie at was fantastic to work with. Norwegian Getaway was beautiful. Food was excellent. Bars were many and great drink choices. My only complaint would be that the pool was too small for the # of people on board. Also only 1 adult pool that was complimentary.

Loved NCL. Not enough pool space, but great vacation.

Staff was great and very helpful. Shows were outstanding and the Cruise Director was always around and made everyone have a great time. Loved this ship and will definitely be back.

NCL has performed the seemingly impossible. They have provided a great cruise with above average dining for the average cruiser, great ports of call and phenomenal entertainment, all at a very appealing value price point. One bit of advice: NCL should consider different seating in the headliners bar and club. The hard, straight-backed chairs can get very uncomfortable after 15 or 20 minutes. A minor thing but worth mentioning.

Butler in the Haven was great. Food was amazing. Can't wait to go again but will have to be in the Haven.

Overall, great cruise amazing drinks. Just bad service when it came to food. I had some allergy breakouts and I told the waiter 6 times that I have allergy to certain things. Service took over 2 hours at Cagney steak house and even breakfast at Tropicana was delayed by an 2 hrs.

Spa was amazing, shows were great and we had fun the entire time. Was sorry the week went by so fast with all there was to do.

Overall it was a good experience, it's just that in my past cruises they were much more diversity in regards to port of call experiences .

This was a our first time on Norwegian Cruise Lines, and our 7th cruise overall. We've been home for about three days now so I've had time to formulate my true thoughts on this. The boat itself was good, not great. The ports were hit and miss. The food was awful. We've never felt so nickeled and dimed on a ship as we did this one. Let's start with the good: As usual, our room and the boat was very clean, our steward did a nice job of keeping things in order. The free entertainment, especially Million Dollar Quartet, was awesome. SugarCane Mojito Bar was fabulous. Shanghai's and O'Sheehans gave us at least decent options for free food. There was a good variety of drinks to try. The Waterfront was nice on the non-smoking side, in the evenings when the sun wasn't beating us up. The Not So Good: First off, this was the worst food of any cruise we've ever taken. Disappointment at every turn. The buffet was decent for breakfast. Lunch and Dinner were just awful, full of food that had no taste or was overcooked. The dining room seemed to just serve about the same quality of food as the buffet and it was really just not good. On every other cruise we looked forward to the dining room dinners and even desserts. We had a dining package so we tried several specialty restaurants, but I ate more beef on this trip than I do in Kansas. it's disappointing that they have such few shellfish options. No lobster, crab, etc. Having cruised on the Harmony of the Seas last fall, this ship just felt really, really congested. I compared it to an old 1960s house that was broken up into so many tiny areas that you just felt like you were crammed into every place you went. The pool area is VERY small, smaller than the tiny Carnival ships we started our cruising experiences on. We got zero enjoyment out of even being around that area of the ship because there were no places to sit down and relax. The adults only area was PACKED like sardines in a can. There's no shade up there and people were crammed into the waterfall areas so tight that it wasn't even an option. Nothing like the peaceful Serenity areas of other ships. Because the outdoor/adult areas were so small and cramped, we spent way more time inside than I would have liked. Probably the worst experience on the ship was the Cirque show we attended for an extra $70. What a waste of time and money! There was food service and you get what they bring you, no choices...guess what, it was steak...again. The food service lasted longer than the show. The show was a glorified circus show with nothing that really wowed. For the 30 minute show and 45 min dinner service we totally felt ripped off of $70.

Overall a great cruise with fantastic staff and service - though I would like to see Margaritaville open longer and better food and beer options from O’Sheehans. The noodle bar and shows were great

I would definitely do it again if I could get a different room. Staff was well trained and friendly. The "free" dining rooms included the usual buffet, but the Savor and Taste were comparable to the upscale "extra fee" dining rooms. They were divided into sections so you didn't feel like you were walking into a cavernous hall with hundreds of people. We didn't consider the ports of call to be important because we just wanted the experience at sea. It is nice to be on board while most people are on shore. The adult swimming pools were not adequate for 3900 guests and not easy to get in (no steps, just steep ladders).

Entertainment and food was good. Service had gone down a long way since I was on Getaway four years ago.

Had an amazing time onboard the Getaway. I had previously sailed on the sister ship the Breakaway from NY a few years back so I knew I would love this ship. Plenty of activities to keep you busy. The ports of call were very nice and especially loved visiting the thermal spa suite. If you do not have a spa balcony room you can buy a pass for it. Best way to relax after a day at the port.

This was our 3rd time on the Getaway and we think it is a fun ship. Casino staff was excellent.

Save your money, this is really now for people who want to party. Only one tiny pool, no shade in adult area. The food was good, but No Lobster in the free restaurants!! Hardly any Shrimp and fish was not good. The escargot was Horrible, The buffet was good, but repetitive. If this is not a problem book on this line. I'm done! Princess and HAL much better.

I'm glad we went, should have gone diving at every port as port activity and shopping are the same everywhere. The only way to escape the heat is in the water or inside the ship.

The cabins are too small for four people and definitely not worth the price. Balcony is even smaller.
