Review summary

Overall we made the best of the disappointments presented by NCL. We planned this for a long time as a 60th bday celebration, Masters graduation, and cancer survival. So maybe my expectations were too high. Ship was nice, food was okay, service was great other than Customer Service Desk. Free at Sea not as promised. Next Cruise not worth the time to plan. The ship took us to the ports we wanted to see. Will need to think about booking NCL again.

Room stewards were excellent. Customer service desk was anything but helpful. Very limited knowledge among staff. People who were checking on information and said they would be back.....never came back. Not once but twice!

Ship tip

Do not plan for what you want or you will be disappointed but you are at their mercy for Itinerary changes, port date changes, and free at sea not being what was promised.

Always have a great time on Norwegian cruises. But I’m the person that sees the glass half full rather than half empty. It makes life much more enjoyable.

You haven't specified what was disappointing about the cruise. If your main complaint is a change of itinerary or missed ports, that can happen on any ship and cruise company. That is a part of the contract we accept. We also liked Million Dollar Quartet and Syd Normans.
