Review summary

Like l said before there was limited areas for adults on the Getaway without having to pay extra but the ports were wonderful they were my bucket list destinations and the meet and greet should be done at the beginning of the cruise to meet fellow military people and ask everybody to stand a say a few things about themselves for a few minutes but the food and drinks were outstanding and entertainment

The main dinning rooms and buffet were excellent but specialty dinning was a disappointment. We choose the Brazilian restaurant and all the meats that were offered were chewy and tough we were very disappointed with the experience as we have enjoyed speciality dining on the Bliss and they were excellent

My husband enjoyed the fitness center l would have enjoyed pool or hot tub but they were to crowded l wanted to go to a sauna but you had to pay for that as part of a package been on other ships and didn’t have to pay for Sauna let alone package for hundreds of dollars l was also disappointed you couldn’t walk to front of ship without being in the Haven

Singer from Portugal was amazing that sang Celine Dion songs smuggler and the Million dollar Quartet were also amazing

Waiters were always highly attentive and personable and excellent service Room steward was great just had a issue with not understanding at first how to keep our room cleaned daily because of a green light that had to be activated by us partly our fault DJ wasn’t our thing interesting hearing about different countries to visit from a host on Deck 6. The Military meet and greet was excellent we really enjoyed the only thing l would say or suggest would be to have this at the beginning of the cruise rather than later in the cruise to meet fellow military couples and have everybody stand up independently for a few minutes to introduce themselves and say something about what they did in the services. The waiters were excellent on hand with the appetizers and drinks for the gathering. Delicious too!

Everything was well maintained but like l said before excess to the front of the ship was limited and so were some of the activities l don’t think you should have to pay extra to be in some of the adult only areas when you have almost 4000 people on board l liked the outdoor bar and seating areas

Bed was comfortable size was great as it was a disabled room but l missed a window or balcony
