Review summary

Was the worst boat ive been on. The food wasnt good, the entertainment was not good. Food selection was not to great. I think u should have more chicken and beef at the aisan station, no minced pork. Always seemed like no one ate it. Most employees were rude, only handful were nice. Some were pushy. Rooms were good and room attended.

The woman who took care of my room was amazing! The bartenders by guest services are rude more than once to my family and i. Some of the help behind the buffet counters were rude as well.

Very clean, i did get bronchitis from the ship. Friends of mine were on the sailing before this one and the family 5 all came home whith the flu.

Wow that's sucks I've been in a getaway twice and had it wonderful time maybe it's end of their contract and they're just wore out sorry to hear that but thanks for sharing

Wow I went and I thought it was great! Food was out standing including the staff. The rude people were most of the people were very disrespectful and disrespectful towards staff! I would def go back but out of a different location. 🤷‍♂️

We were on the Getaway for 10 days last May and two weeks in November. We had a fabulous time both times. We had the most amazing service at the pool Bars and atrium bar. I’m sorry you didn’t. I do think it needs some freshening up as far as painting the balconies but I think she is scheduled for that. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it.

The Getaway is one of our favorite ships. The food, service, and entertainment were excellent. No matter the ship, the buffet is our last choice for dining. Sorry you did not have a good time and got sick.

I'm sorry you got sick but with all these people like over 4000 people yes people can get sick. Or was your body already not feeling well before you got on the ship? That's very possible too. Sometimes these things happen and it's really hard to handle when you're not feeling well. People don't cover their mouth when they cough and sneeze. There's always germs around. I don't care how much the public house keeping cleans people are touching the elevator buttons. The staircase handles railings, the spoons, the plates, everything. It doesn't matter. You could get sick even on land. And I'm sorry that you got sick. I got sick also on my vacation it just happens and I was on my Norwegian Majesty cruise back in 2008. I got sick. It just happened. It was probably in my system. The majesty is obviously retired. It's not with Norwegian anymore. I hope you feel better.

The getaway is a ship, not a boat. This total difference between a boat and a ship. We were on the getaway and we had no problems. We had a wonderful state room attendant. The food and the MDR was good. The buffet was okay. You know like any other buffet it was all right. It depends on the chef but I will go back on the getaway if I can.
