Review summary

The weather was not right for this ship as since most of the days where cold the pool area and the waterfront were useless. The ship felt very crowded because of that reason.

This ship is definitely not designed for cold weather as there is not enough room for everyone on the ship when the pool and waterfront areas are not an option. I’ve sailed this ship in the Caribbean and in warm weather it’s great.

There was a train strike so our plan to that the train to Bordeaux went out the window. Soulac-sur-Mer was a cute town but after 2 hours you have seen everything there is to see. This was the only day with nice weather were I took advantage of the pool deck water slides and the rope course.

There was a terrorist attack in Brussels so more people ended up going to Bruges. Bruges is gorgeous but a bit on the crowded side which we had stayed with the original plan to go to Ghent.

It was very cold in the 40s. Norwegian had already change the time of arrival for this port and as we were on the river to get to the port they tell us due to traffic that we will arrive later. We missed out on our tour guide giving us the Beatles tour but a few of us went to the red light district where the Beatles used to play and saw their plaza. The next day since it was sprinkling we went to the miniature wonderland which was way more amazing than anything we could had expected.
