Review summary

We had a great cruise. It was the last cruise before the COVID-19 pandemic caused NCL to cancel all itineraries. They took many extra precautions to prevent anyone from getting sick. They did a great job taking care of everyone and were working extra hard to keep everything clean. We were very impressed and had a great time. The weather was excellent except one day where it rained for a few hours at port. Lots of kids and young adults - as expected for a spring break cruise. Great entertainment, great food and drinks, casino was nice, and lots of variety in activities throughout the day.

Great size room. We had 4 adults and fit just fine. The couch turned into a bed and had storage underneath. The top bunk bed came out of the ceiling and the room steward would put it up in the morning and take it down every night. Great view from the balcony.

Ship tip

Beautiful ship with so much to see and do. Take advantage of all of the activities and dining options. Pay close attention to the “freestyle daily” which is the daily newsletter with the schedule of events and do everything you can! Book show reservations early and if your port has tender boats, book those early too!!

Ports of call

Harvest Caye, Belize

Beautiful private island owned by NCL. Great pool and beach area with lots of activities and places to sit. Two things were disappointing to us - all food and drinks purchases add a 12.5% tax and 15% service charge. Also the dock was damaged so everyone had to take tender boats to get to the island. Book your tender groups early so you don’t get one of the last groups.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Costa Maya has a great port area with lots of shops and a pool, however you have to now purchase food and/or drinks to sit on the chairs by the pool ($16 minimum order per chair).

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Small port area with a few shops and a bar so an shore excursion is highly recommended if getting off the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

Great place to shop and walk around. They have lots of beaches if you take an excursion or taxi, but we always just walk along the side walk for a few miles and shop. Tons of places to shop, eat, and drink.
