I found out after coming back that Norwegian is known for not having good food. This was my 1st time on Norwegian and will be my last. Out of 12 cruises this the worst
Embarkation
3 out of 5
It wasn’t any different then any other cruise line. Long lines and waiting around for your number to be called.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Food and drink service was slow. Our 1st day on the ship we waited 2 hours to get served dinner. Everyone that came in after got served. The food was not good. In the buffet or dinner. I tried the paid restaurant and the steak raw and cold. The only food that was good was the ice cream and thats if they weren’t broken. Drinks took forever to be served. There was long lines and lack of servers. Best service on the whole ship was at the Casio bar
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Did really use them
Entertainment
1 out of 5
The shows were horrible and felt like it was never gotten to stop. Its was like a broken record . They kept doing the same skits
Children's Programs
Don’t have kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was great. The manger told me the ship was under staffed and the experienced staff was sent to a newer ship. Service experince was not the staff fault it was Norwegian fault for not having enough staff to service a full ship
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It was clean
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
I never meet the cabin steward. I tried to get the ice bucket filled to the top. I left a note on the ice bucket and he never did it
Ship tip
I been on many cruises don’t waste your vacation on Norwegian
Stay on the ship. This is Norwegian Island. The Excursion was and 1 hour boat ride 2 hour bus ride and 40 minutes on the lazy river. All tied together. Total travel time was over 3.5 hours
Beach was nice. Very pushing about tips and we wasted our time at the beach listening to them about tips and what vendors Had available to sell. The beach was passion island. They made us tips before getting back on the boat. We were here in May and didn’t have any of this issues
