I honestly had no issues with lines or crowds with respect to dining or shows. However, I did book all my dinners and shows about a month before the cruise. I think Norwegian could have done a better job recommending that people reserve things ahead of time by either reminding them via email or phoning them before the cruise. This is the new way of cruising. For ships that hold nearly 4,000 passengers, they need people to reserve things beforehand or it would be mad chaos come sailing time. As big as these ships are, they don't have the capacity for shows or dinners to honor a first come first serve seating style. This is the new way of crusing. For those who prefer the old style, smaller boats may be a better option for them.

We found almost no wait times for dinner, even for the "standby" lines for shows. I wonder if it was just different times.
